So, this has been happening for a while now. I would remove all the notifications, and they would just return...... Every browser I have does this as well. Can this be fixed?

Notifications for what, where?  Might help people figure out what your talking about so we can help better.

WG has had silly issues with their forums for years, and always will.

Must be a bug as I get no notifications at all.

Seems like a bug because I don't have issues and mines turned on, but sometimes I get a pop-up from the browser asking if I want to allow them.  I occasionally clean my browser, cache, etc. which is likely the reason I get the "allow" notification.  Btw I use FireFox usually, but I also haven't noticed any issues with Chrome.  Don't use any other browsers enough to know if the issue exists for me on them or not.

You can turn browser notifications off.  Click the little bell in the upper right and it has a settings option.  There may also be a setting for it in your main forum settings under notifications.  But not sure as I haven't checked.

Of course there's a downside to that in that you won't get any at all.

This is a website notification. Not the usual "Browser notification". There is no off button....

EDIT:

If you mean this:

Its already off.....

Yes that's it.  Off and you're still getting them...  GG WG GG. :P

Hell if you're still getting them try turning it on, maybe it being off is tripping the bug.  Cause WG logic lol.

Good luck.

It's a quality-of-life issue that's a biproduct of our dated forum software.

Try clicking 'view all messages' when you pop open the messages dropdown, that should get rid of them.
