1.. arty shoot the players who sit still. they go for the easy targets. If you have a problem with arty.....well. You figure it out.

2.. This is not about arty.

Well that statement really indicates your understanding of the terms is quite limited. Allow me help you out.

 
Tactical: relating to or constituting actions carefully planned to gain a specific military end. 
Strategic: relating to the identification of long-term or overall aims and interests and the means of achieving them.
Depth: the quality of being intense or extreme.

 Arty gives us more things to consider both tactically and strategically in the active game environment. Therefore it does increase tactical and strategic depth (3D threat environment) compared to how the game would be without it (2D threat environment). Let me know if this concept is still too hard to understand. :great:

Based on what constitutes a tank, spgs are much more of a tank than wheeled vehicles are
