Just unlocked the TVP and only have the carry over gun. 4 losses in a row due to substandard sub moron teams set up by that POS MM. Yes it's a tier 8 so I know I am going to get f#$%' ed over all the time. But is it too much to ask to maybe be top tier the first few battles?

Try M103. You’ll cry even when you’re top tier with stock gun, hehe.

there’s a timeless vegetarian classic that gets far less fanfare: textured vegetable protein (TVP). A popular meat alternative around the world, TVP is made from defatted soy flour and comes in several shapes and sizes. Much like tofu, it can be seasoned to any taste, so it’s a great substitute for different types of meat in a variety of dishes.

The TVP does play like textured vegetable protein. Good analogy.

TVP was a tough grind.  Everyone penned you and you penned no one.

The Tier IX and X are well worth it though the stock IX is total crap.  Fully upgraded it's a beast.

I was grinding the Type 4 Heavy today, which I wouldn't call bad or else I'd get crucified by everyone else, yet I still got cursed with the same "brilliant" teams you OP are complaining about, you're not alone in your pain.

TBH I don't like being top tier when you're in a tank that's stock, it's easier to sit in the back and get what damage you can than have your team all pissed at you because you're essentially useless on the front line.

Save free exp to unlock top modules and keep your sanity by grinding crappy tier 8 tanks in FL and strongholds.

Im not trying to brag, but try 70 games with a stock Stug 3 G with 75mm L48 gun, retrained 90% + 30% camo crews where I win 54-56% of the games, and then like POOF magic, 15 losses in a row dropping it down like a brick once I have 100% crew, and 75mm L70 top gun equipped. Then another 2 weeks of disgusting self and team performance steamrolls landing it between a solid 150 games and 50-51% wins.

Or how about Panther 2 at I think 80 games (?) where the 88 L71 is passable with similarly retrained 90% + 80% (?) crews, and then bam 11 losses in a row, then unlock 88mm L100 and another streak of mind blowing losses landing it at a solid 39-40% w/r.

Or hell, 150 games in my MauerBrecher tier 8 prem. somehow get 1st mark of excellence (!!!) over 3-5 good games, sitting at 52% w/r.  Yes you guessed it, a streak of disgusting zero-800 dmg games, where I end up at 45% w/r.

Mind you this all continued to happen over the last 15 days with the Stug and Mauer. The Panther 2, I stopped playing it in randoms for the most part except for FL this month a few battles.

My overall winrate after several other (T71 DA, etc.) losing streaks 14 days ago went from 51.29% to 51.10% despite 11,800 battles. Yes, I'm THAT terribad AND unlucky.

The TVP was actually a really easy stock grind. I just used the stock 8,8 with 220 alpha and a 5.5 second reload and shot nothing but gold for 200mm of penetration, ended up averaging the same amount of damage doing that as what I managed with the 105 (1600+ average damage).

Oh, I'd just like to add that a combination of the stock 8,8 and the stock turret gives you -12 degrees of gun depression. When I was top tier I annihilated. When I was bottom tier, I actually managed to surprise and massacre an Obj 907 that wasn't expecting my rof while he focused down one of my team mates. Good fun.

New tanks are horrible.   I used to get excited about getting a new tank, now I just dread it.  I've got like 4 or 5 tanks unlocked that I'm just refusing to buy because I hate stock tanks and retraining crews.   Getting a new tank is probably the lowest part of the game anymore because its the start of a long miserable grind, or a payout of about 20 bucks to actually upgrade the thing and completely convert up a crew.

you can stronghold, or save it for next chapter of front line?

At any rate, there are worse stock guns than 175 pen 100mm in tier 8.

You should count your blessings. The gun is better than T-34-2 elite guns

Was a brutal weekend. I thought I'd play strictly tier 10's. There are tooo many players that dont belong in tier 5 playing tier 10's. You get stuck holding the bag trying to play the map the conventional way when you really should be camping and sniping with them to at least farm Win8.. If I didn't have a great carrying game, I would not win.

TVP sucked before WG f’d up the MM. I spent 200k free xp to skip it completely.

Play the crap out of it in Frontline, it’s really not terrible against all 8s.
