l agree. The Japanese heavy line was the beginning of the end. HE mechanics don't belong in the game like they are. also, what the heck is type 4/5 premium shell problem? it's BLATANT pay to win. Why aren't more people upset with this?

Pay to win? Not really its just that the tank renders any type of armor useless, while being big slow and terrible handle but when tier 10s start seeing more 9s and 10s that thing wont survive long due to its flat armor

I'm talking about the premium "gold" ammo that the Type 4 and 5 heavy tank use. The standard HE round on the type 5 has 75mm of penetration and does 1,100. The premium does 75 mm of penetration but does 1,400 damage.

It's the same shell, just with much higher damage rolls. Most tanks have HEAT as premium, which has downsides compared to ap/apcr.

Type 4/5 heavys have BLATANT pay to win aspects and it's just dumb.

Not going to tee off on this OP other than to say: It sounds like his problem is mostly that he spent money and it ISN'T rigged, in his favor.

why do you need to provide an explanation   for leaving the game.  Just leave and be done with it .

They should have never started nerfing and buffing tanks, just fit new tanks into the present rankings and let the game alone.  The obsession with tank balance will result in an early death of this game.

If the game started to suck for you throwimg coins in the well changes nothing, the water will still be bitter to you.

As for Eve Online that game has a mature and dedicated base (real life event's actually influence the game, like a bar fight caused a massive online alliamce war). Players would get up at two in the morning to fight a three to four hour battle consisting of thousands of ships on each side. People treat the game as an acutal career, being extremely serious about it. I should know for I was there when Test Alliance took on Goonswarm in Fountain.

You cannot compare the two games, one requires commitment for 15 to 20 minutes at most to another where it becomes a second job. Neither are "dying", players numbers always will fluctuate with a game over the years. A game dies when it is supplanted by an alternate version but at this time World of Tanks is still one of the top names (Armoured Warfare is an example of an unsuccessful game).

We all need to remember that this forum is limited to positive comments only.  It shouldn't be that difficult.  Some examples:

- I sure am glad WG put that idiot Sir Fosh in his place by threatening to ruin his career.  Way to go WG!!! Now maybe you can apply that same tactic to your forum critics.  Bet that will get rid of the negative comments.

- WG.net is better off being de-listed from the Cyprus stock exchange.  How dare the exchange insist on WG providing financial statements! Remember what having financial records did for Al Capone.   Cheers to WG!

- I just love the 3-5-7 MM.  Having my tier 8 one shot by a tier 10 is a great learning experience.  Having it cost me 12,000 credits is a small price to pay for such a valuable lesson. Fortunately I know I don't have to worry about running out of credits because the game is "free to play". Yay WG!!

--Getting killed by arty is a blast!!! I don't know why but if WG says its a good thing then hey lets buff arty and really make the game fun!!!!

See, its not that hard to be positive.

"I threw money at the game and I didn't win. The game is flawed. Also, I gave a example of how WoT will fade away like EVE Online...Even though EVE Online is still a playable game. I blame the game and the developers for my terrible stats, therefore I'm going to quit."

That's pretty much what you said.

How many of these "I'm quitting because (fill in lame excuse here)" do we have to endure? The mods should have a "no leaving WoT posts" policy. It taking up space that can be used for more constructive things. You offer no real solutions. It's just another crybaby rant and at this point it's just noise. Nobody cares.

Lol. You call that a career  ? He was a CC for a niche online game.  That's a hobby.

Oh, aren't you edgy?

1. The Sir Foch situation could have been handle better. But it would appear that the CC guidelines have been changed. Claus Kellerman for example is a CC now, and he's very critical of WG and WoT. Heck, even QuickyBaby is being more critical, and he's considered a WG shill for most of his WoT career. Plus, it would appear that Sir Foch is still playing. So?

2. Cyprus stock exchange: irrelevant. If we stopped supporting companies that have done shady things, the free market would collapse. Nobody is guiltless. Next.

3. learn to play your tank. bottom tier in any match you're a support tank. Irrelevant if Tier 8 or not. so don't YOLO in like a flailing armed moron. If half the player base understood that, they'd do better. You included.

4. Arty: I agree with you here. I'm an arty hater through and through. will never play it. Fun fact: arty is going to get another SERIOUS nerf soom. It's in super test, so stay tuned.

The "game" is not, cannot and will not and  attract new players. The meter is either broken or the game simply cannot generate a player-base anymore, as witnessed by the loss of 1/3 of it's existing player-base a couple years ago for no particular reason. Approximately 10,000 existing players...gone.

So...you, dear reader, can believe the handful of "posters" on this forum...in this thread...who will tell you the game is doing just fine...or you can consider why 10,000 players would simply move on...

Here is a brief list of WG's attempts to correct this "problem"

Re-vamped MM providing 3/5/7....hated.

"Nerfed" arty...hated.

Vaunted and long-awaited graphics engine rebuild....no one cared.

Grand Battles....who? what? where?

Ranked Battles...as in "stank"...but with an "R"

New maps...same as the old maps.

Wheeled vehicles....no comment.

Of course WG has added a great many other useless and unappealing "rewards, awards, medals, missions and premium tanks" in a rushed attempt to...do what? <<--- Is there anyone brave enough to take this particular question on in discussion??

Have they moved the population marker on the NA server up...at all? NO. After all of the crap they've added, broken or just plain screwed up have they actually brought the daily average population up above 20k for any sustainable amount of time over the last 2 years? Again..NO.

What they have done is sell a lot of NEW premium tanks in that same time-frame...

The "rigged" argument is a Red Herring set to keep the play-ability argument steered away from what WG actually does for it's player-base...nothing.

Rigged? Not Wargaming!!! They're here to make sure YOU have a good gaming experience...right?
