Clowncars Just Don't Miss

As a scout (real scout) lover.. I find it ridiculous at the auto aim of clowncars. They don't miss... auto loading lights at a 15m dual.. I'll miss all my shots while they land every single one.

 

How are you supposed to counter that?

 

To prove my point I've seen too many 45%ers just dominate a field all they do is drive around and auto aim.

Yeah I'm driving the Hotch at the moment. The auto aim is good. I think it's more the gun handling than auto aim though. I took off my vert stab and didn't even notice a difference.

It’s a completely broken mechanic compounded by the fact there are too many, they are too fast and too deadly.

 

But they are a cash cow and here to stay so hold out for the Russian hovercraft, or whatever they plan to sell you to deal with them. I’m all for arresting gear or grappling hooks. 

 

Sound stupid? I agree but so does a 100 kph Clown Car with a laser guided cannon.

No need for hyperbole, they miss but they are too accurate on the move and  45% players don't dominate in them very often if at all, in anything. Most of them die real fast but good players can do very well with them.

It's just Saturday morning cartoons with Wily Coyote trying to drop anvils on Road Runner. It's just a cartoon arcade game now. They might as well add Mario in the next update.

Having played them and against them they miss, saying they don't is moronic but yes I completely agree that they are far too accurate and I can't recall a 45% player ever dominating in them or even doing very well in them let alone anthing else. Most driven by sub 50% players either die in the first couple minutes or don't contribute much until maybe the end game when they go after the SPG's.

I've seen enough to contradict your statement....

 

"Clowncars", as you call them, are very weak when driven by below 50% WR players. They are easy to kill since they cannot turn as fast. The autoaim also isn't super accurate. It will still miss and your turret rotation sometimes cannot keep up with what you have locked on. Wheeled tanks are great, its just that when in the hands of a good player they appear broken.

Yeah, lets massively nerf the dispersion upon moving and turning. They will make very nice tds.

I have wheelies.

I suck in them but at least I have them so I have actually played them as opposed to just ranting and pulling things out my exhaust pipe.

 

I have 241 tanks in my garage.

When I check the "Hit Ratio" of my tanks I find that the wheelies place as follow;

AMD 178B 153rd best hit ratio (52%)

EBR Hotch 105th best hit ratio (56%)

EBR 75 FL 10 90th best hit ratio (58%)

 

They hit every time?

They don't ever miss?

 

 

I'm doing it wrong. :(

That isn't the problem. Even with regular lights it's not all that difficult to autoaim a tank on the move the vast majority of the time.

I've played with them, and against them. The only time I find wheelicles to be a serious threat is when too many people try to chase one down instead of paying attention to what the other red tanks are doing. The exception being when players who know how to wolfpack with the Pz 1c decide to platoon. 

The solution to the things simply to load HE.

How do you assure the success of a new tank line?  Ya, you give it some stupid power that other tanks don't have.  Wow, look at how many people are playing the new tank line. We are really good are at offering new tanks that people like! Give them time and eventually we will see flying tanks, invisible tanks, tanks that can only be penetrated by premium rounds, etc etc etc.  Anyone of which you will be able to buy for the low low price of $99.99 USD  No Rubles accepted.

Tier 8 now just has the same sealclubbing high mobility tanks Tier 4 has had in the Luchs and PziC.  I just ignore them, because with my ping its useless trying to hit them.  If they get within 100m of me I just walk away from the computer, theres nothing I can do once they start circling.  Just give a me a self destruct.

 

Game is getting more unplayable by the month.
