Not so much on corridor maps of which there are too many and which the MM seems to prefer

On these maps you need the herd thinned out a little before flanking becomes anything more than a quick trip to the garage.

I've been playing The Division 2.  It's AI could teach a Master's Class on flanking.

I have become a big fan of flanking lately...on certain maps anyways. Mines, Redshire, Studianski(?) are particularly good if you are in a medium or relatively fast TD.
