So I haven't played any tier VIII seriously in maybe 2 years since 9.18 or 9.19 update but I gave it a go today.11 battles in my 40T and went like this - Four 3 5 7 battles - Five  tier VIII battles and Two top tier battles - 8 wins 2 losses. Then I platooned in some tier IX battles AMX 30 - 1st  battle top tier -  6 tier IXs and 8 tier VIIIs, (Win).Second battle AMX 30 - 3 Xs 6 IXs 6 VIIIs (Win)Third battle T 54 - 6Xs 9 IXs (Loss)Fourth battle  T54 - 4 Xs 11 IXs (Loss).I played 2 tier VII battles in my Comet for losses but the spread was good being top tier in the first battle. The MM seems to be close to what it was pre 9.19 but there has been a significant drop in talent in the game since 2 years ago.I mean the last 2 tier IX battles were filled with heavy fails.I believe there was a platoon of M103's with a 42% win rate and an average damage of 212 but it is what it is.I threw in the tier IX numbers even though I didn't play many of them this morning but that tier spread seems different than it was before.I don't need to play 100 battles to know tier VIII has improved a bit.I just play Lts and mediums and this is my experience.

I will need to return tonight and report back with my experience (I will make it a 2-ish hour session so that I don't have a meme tier sample size).

I played about 20 games. One was same tier the rest bottom tier. I played mostly tier 7. I didn't notice any difference.

MM is better is relative.   Running Tier IX's it can be worse, because you don't see nearly the numbers of Tier VII anymore, you see more Tier X instead.

For a good player, that is moot - they likely want more HP's in the game.    For most though, they are going to start avoiding playing Tier IX tanks because they can't pick on a whole ton of Tier VII's anymore.

I can see this happening because I ran mostly VIIIS and Xs before 3 5 7 was a thing.Ive ran IXs and VIIS into the ground they can sit in the garage for all I care if tier VIII continues to be what I experienced today.I just bought my Pershing and Centurion back and plan on having fun!

MM seems much better in regards to tier placement.  RNG has been absolute garbage.
