Why do we need horns? please tell me in their infinite wisdom they made it so if I add someone to my ignore list their horn is silenced as well. Please tell me they thought that far at least.

Also, how much is this respec thing to new skills going to cost? What are the new skills?

So that a Maus can blow away a Loltraktor, rather than wasting 1200 credits firing at it or trying to chase it and ram it.

Fog of War = WIN!
Locking CW tanks = FAIL!
New Company Battle modes = WIN!
Horns = TRIPLE FAIL!

Need more win to balance out all that horn fail.

The fog of war is for clan battles only I believe. Would be cool if it were for random matches, if the random matchmaker were a little better.

I'm curious (or worried actually) about a gold purchased invisibility boost. This has the potential to be bad...has overlord or any of the devs offered insight in how this will work?
Improved camo value would not be so bad.
invisible tanks....would be dreadful.

Anyone know anything about it?

completely agree. and i thought the discussion to not have CW tank locking for the US server happened, wtf WG?

copyediting note: im guessing "Junior (tier 8 is maximal), Medium (tier 6 is maximal) and Champion (tier 4 is maximal)" should be: "Junior (tier 4 max), Medium (tier 6 max) and Champion (tier 8 max)"

Along with the present battle mode, which will be called Absolute, new divisions of tank company battles will be introduced: Junior (tier 8 is maximal), Medium (tier 6 is maximal) and Champion (tier 4 is maximal).

I think you ment

Champion (tier 8 is maximal), Medium (tier 6 is maximal) and Junior (tier 4 is maximal).

incidentaly you may want to change the name of the top teir....just a sudgestion. . . After all you are seen as a Russian Company. . . And yes I know its Sweedish but thats kind of beside the point. . .

7.0 looks to be GREAT!  Love the changes being made.  Now, if I only had a better graphics card...:Smile-izmena:

I really don't have a single problem with a single change, currently.  I'm even excited about the horn.  Sometimes, (a few of you who are wondering about the horn may want to pay close attention to this), there maybe a tank blocking you or about to run into you.  Maybe, you're even under attack while this is happening and you would like a way to say, "Hey, watch out!" or "Hey, you're freakin' blocking me!", and there's no time to stop and text.  A horn may actually get someone's attention just like in real life.  I know the idea seems silly, but think about it.

Maybe, you can put a 'big' horn on a little tank and freak other little tanks when they aren't paying attention or full heavies for just a millisecond; long enough for a teamate to get that last shot in.  lol  Ok, I now.  Now, I'm just being silly.
:P

Yes, it seems backwards, doesn't it?  You would think Champion = 8, Medium = 6, and Junior = 4.

Oddly enough as I read that what actualy poped into my mind was along the lines of "I dont think they had VODKA! Kid! HAPPYMEAL! WHEATIES!in mind when they came up with this"

imagining the picture of that battle of just a maus out of ammo full health versus Loltraktor also no ammo where the maus is just trying to chase down and ram the tank into submission is just hilarious.

Well to add my 2 cents in on the up coming update 7.0.
1) new maps are alwasy good.

2)a. the cammo will be a nice touch I just hope it dosn't add to much to motionless tanks bonus, its already bad when your shooting at someone that disappears 100 meters away in the open cause theres a bush between them and you. Horns? why?

  b. level limits to company battles sound like a great idea.

  c. the minimap options sound good.

  d. the complaint ideas is a wait and see and hope it doesn't drag the game down.

  e. logos that will be cool.

  f. the war mist, this is lame in clan wars you already know your facing tier 9 and 10 tanks. So now you wont know until to you see them your facing 3 Maus , 3 IS-7 , 4-6 1950 MBT and 3-4 arty, be freaking deal.

  h. destroyed tanks in clan wars lost for a period of time. nice idea but to late to mean anything in CW. This will only help the clans that own areas and hurt the ones trying to gain land. This idea will hurt the clans fighting for a landing zone if the lose a couple of teir 10 early in a landing contest.

  i. reseting the tanker skills of gold, another wait and see. Be nice to be able to spend credits or gold on getting crewman trained up.

  j. laytop help nice.

  k. visual effects help great! anything to keep the screen from bogging down when a explosins happens in front of your tank.

We already get invisible, or at least disappearing tanks.  When I get hit by 3 different tanks multiple times and can't see any of them despite being in an elited KT with coated optics, then effectively we already have invisible tanks.  It's still mind boggling that the system does not have tanks who have fired shots show up.

From Patch notes:

You can also buy an additional type of camo for Gold: the adaptive camo, which will be introduced as a special consumable in the store. The adaptive camo will "repaint" the tank into the relevant battle map colors. Additionally, the tank will get a special bonus to in-game invisibility.

Question:
Will we have to buy the adaptive camo consumable each match or do we buy it once and we will always have it for that tank like remove speed governor?

question. with the new complaint system they are implmenting, what is to stop people from abusing it and complaining against everyone? Will there need to be mandatory screenshots or at least 4 people to confirm. It is a great idea and im glad they are implementing it but i would like to know more about how it will work.
