Does existing premium time carry over?  I will check notes and video in a few.

EDIT:  Watched video, any current premium time gets converted to this specific premium while retaining existing premium.  YAY.  C:

The GOOD:

  • Choice to apply XP daily boost to specific battle, even more than once for the same vehicle.
  • Credits Bank (Though I think it should be "empty at will after X days or leave in palce and keep building credits" )
  • Platoon credit bonus
  • Base platoon XP bonus

The BAD:

  • Map blacklisting.  Just no.  No.  No.  Nyet.  Negative.  No bueno.
  • Did I say map blacklisting?  Yeah, that.  More maps, not less.

For a limited time grace period, yes

So let me make sure I've got this...

If I want WoT premium account I have to buy regular premium account and then I have to buy WoT Premium Account on top of that?

I like for the most part. I don't like the idea of the "piggy bank" being limited to 750,000 credits and automatically emptying every 7 days, I'd rather have it's capacity be unlimited and have it so I can choose when to empty it whenever I like. That way I could have a stash of credits I can't spend (I'm bad at saving credits/not spending) going into the millions, so whenever I want to purchase a new tier 9 or 10 vehicle I can go to the "piggy bank" and make a withdrawal of the necessary credits. More like a real bank.

So this basically screws anyone over that wants to play across your library of games, by having to pay more. Seems like a good marketing strategy if you wanted to kill off a game.

"All players who have currently have Wargaming premium account will get the same amount of days of World of Tanks premium account instead, at the same time it will retain the Wargaming premium account in the other Wargaming trilogy titles".

It appears that that is not the case.

Isn't that just your regular credits listing?

Looks like a way to force u to pay for 3 different games worth of premium time separately vs pay once for all 3.

Kill off a game or force more money from players who will take it as is and keep playing as they want, time will tell.

1. Every game will have their own premium account specifically for it.

2. For now you will still be able to buy regular premium account just gotta find from which store and have regular premium

3. Looks like in the future yes there will be 3 separate premium accounts but will give enhanced benefits for those who have it

4. Launch of World of Tanks Premium account will be with the next patch

5. You will be able to test profitability in the next public test that will test the next patch.

Yours Truly :)

So you want a timed withdrawal system? Your post sounds like you want the piggy bank to allow you make withdrawals whenever you want, which is how your regular credits accumulate now, so why have a bank system at all?

While you can have both premium accounts, you will only benefit from the WoT PA.

This gives players more options on what to spend their money on. If a player wants to grind through the whole trilogy then regular premium time and boosters is there. Or a player can spend  money to progress through a specific title faster. When the WoT PA activates you will receive a grace period where all your normal Premium Time is converted to WoT PA.

My understanding is that premium time you have will include this new premium service but after that it will be like WoWs.

3 minutes late....

I did not see this addressed anywhere.

Will World of Tanks Premium Account still have +50% to Credits, Experience, and Crew Experience like the current Premium Account?

Yes, that makes sense. You gotta get 'em hooked.

If you only play WOT you only need WOT premium account. If you play any other WG games you need additional premium account as premium time after grace period is no longer shared between WOT and other WG games.

I knew it, said so in another post...

We would have the ability to black list one map for now...

Now we know, as suspected that you will be able to pay to black list more maps going forward.  One for premium at this time, but soon...

Also, the credit bank, wth, just give me my credits as I earn them so I can use them when and as I wish, not a week later!

I've got over two years of premium stacked up. Not super clear what this means for me. The "grace period" thing makes it seem like your current account won't just convert over. But the FAQ makes it seem like it does. Pretty confusing.

And, the advantages to the player seem negligible.

Overall it just seems to make the game even more pay-to-win than it is already.
