Below you will find the rules for the IGN Prime World of Tanks Tournament.


Membership Requirements

  • All players must log into WoT at least once before being able to register for the tournament.
  • Maximum of 128 teams.

Game Settings

1.      Game Mode: 5-vs.-5
2.      Map Rotation: Malinovka, Himmelsdorf, Mines.
3.      Each team will be randomly assigned to each side on the map.
4.      The first team to win 2 matches will be the winner and will be qualified to continue onto the next round.
5.      There are a maximum of 5 battles in the round, each match lasting a maximum of 10 minutes.
6.      If there is not a winner within the 10 minute time limit, the match will be considered a draw.
7.      If the round ends with no team winning 2 matches, both teams are disqualified for passive gameplay.
8.      There will be a 3 minute break between each match of the round.

Tournament Format

1.      Players have from September 20th to October 3rd to level a tier III tank.
2.      Registration for the tournament ends on Sunday, October 2nd at 11:59 PM PDT.
3.      Battles commence as of October 4th.
4.      Teams have 62 minutes to finish their round; 10 minutes each match; 3 minutes break between each match.
5.      Tournament system is automated. Participants will not be able to join tournament battles unless online when each round is scheduled to begin.

6pm PDT / 03.00 CET – First match begins at 6:10pm PDT / 03.10 CET

Thursday Ocotber 6th - Round Two (64)

6pm PDT / 03.00 CET – First match begins at 6:10pm PDT / 03.10 CET

Friday October 7th - Round Three (32)

6pm PDT / 03.00 CET – First match begins at 6:10pm PDT / 03.10 CET

Saturday October 8th - Round Four (16)

1pm PDT / 22.00 CET – First match begins at 1:10pm PDT / 22.10 CET

Saturday October 8th - Round Five (8)

4pm PDT / 01.00 CET – First match begins at 4:10pm PDT / 01.10 CET

Sunday October 9th - Round Six (4)

1pm PDT / 22.00 CET – First match begins at 1:10pm PDT / 22.10 CET

Sunday October 9th - Grand Finals

4pm PDT / 01.00 CET – First match begins at 4:10pm PDT / 01.10 CET

Monday October 10th - 3rd Place Match

6pm PDT / 03.00 CET – First match begins at 6:10pm PDT / 03.10 CET

Restrictions & Items

1.      Tournament is restricted to Tier III tanks maximum, with a Tier II restriction for artillery and tank destroyers. If a team violates this restriction, a screenshot of the match scoreboard must be submitted to Wargaming America for review.

2.      There are no item restrictions

Server Selection

Tournament will take place on the NA server.

Before the Match

1.      Players are recommended to be online 15 minutes before the start of the round.
2.      2 reserve players are an available option to replace team members that do not show up for the tournament.
3.      If a team does not show up for a match by the scheduled time they will forfeit.
4.      Teams may ormay not be notified in advance that their game will be casted live. All teams are expected to submit to these requests as long as they are made within an acceptable amount of time.

During the Match

Match Play

1.      In case of an in-game dispute, take a screen shot so that the matter can be discussed after the round.
2.      In the case that both teams cannot agree on a decision or reach an available admin within 15 minutes of the issue being brought to light, the remainder of the match will be played out and the teams can request an admin review/appeal afterward.
3.      No observers are allowed in a match with the exception of admins, shoutcasters, and streamers.
4.      Only leaders/admins are allowed to use ALL chat during a match. Excessive or offensive ALL chat may result in a disqualification. Treating your opponent in an unsportsmanlike manner will be dealt with appropriately. Do NOT respond to teams participating in such behavior, continue to play the match to completion and then dispute the round in question. Be sure to take a screenshot of the ALL chat abuse to submit.

Remakes & Server Issues

1.      If server issues arise, the match will be rescheduled by the admin and the two teams will not be disqualified.

After the Match

1.      Matches are officially over only when a team successfully takes over the opposing team’s base, or has killed all the tanks on the opposing team.

Other Warnings and Disqualifications

1.      Teams can receive a warning for unsportsmanlike conduct such as excessive use of foul language, griefing, racism, profanity, rude acts, vulgar acts, acts of belligerence, and disrespect of an official, streamer or caster.
2.      Teams can receive a warning for other reasons decided by the tournament administration.
3.      All warnings are first and final. A second warning for any other infraction of the ruleset is grounds for immediate removal pending an investigation by the tournament administration.
4.      Teams can receive a disqualification if they intentionally use any prohibited bugs, exploits, hacks or are found to be utilizing unfair methods of competition by the tournament administration.
5.      The tournament administration may adjust these rules at any time at their discretion.

Legal Rules & Prizes

ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. No more than one (1) prize may be won by any one Entrant to the Tournament. All prizes will be awarded. Prize winners must execute an affidavit of eligibility and liability release before they can receive their prizes. Prizes returned as undeliverable or otherwise not claimed within fifteen (15) days after transmission of notification will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions or exchanges (including cash) of any prizes will be permitted, except that Wargaming America reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for any prize. Limit one prize per household or address. All prizes are awarded "AS IS."

If you are under the legal age of majority in your country of residence, or in your state of residence if you are a resident of the United States (a"minor"), one of your parents or legal guardians must submit a signed written statement with your entry, stating that he or she has read, understood, and agreed to these Tournament rules, and that such agreement constitutes acceptance of these Tournament rules on behalf of you and him- or herself. If you reside in the state of North Dakota, Vermont, Connecticut, or Maryland in the United States, you are not eligible to participate in this Tournament. Directors, officers, and employees of Wargaming America, its parent, and any of their respective affiliate companies, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate families of each are not eligible to win any prizes. All applicable federal,state, and local laws and regulations apply. There is no cost to enter or win. Offer void where prohibited. In the event of any dispute, each entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the email address from which the email was sent.

Physical prizes are only available to residents of the United States and Canada. Members of winning teams that are not eligible for physical prizes will be compensated with additional in-game rewards.
