It is nice of WG, but the virtual rewards for the contribution given are pretty weak.  Less than $10.00 worth of credits for a $50.00 contribution?  Come on, WG, this could have been a win-win.

When is NA going to have exclusive camo for donation like they do on EU and RU?

WG loses nothing by selling virtual goods. There's no reason to not have the goods be equitable with non-charitable purchases. Shamefully chintzy. Booo.

As a veteran I welcome any organization that support our troops/ veterans/ and wounded warriors. It means a lot to those who need it and receive it. However many organizations do take donations. I ask you to make sure you do your research before making any donation and choose those that best fit what you are comfortable with.

I like to go with the Gary Sinise Foundation (LT. Dan from Forrest Gump). Not saying 8 bit is bad. Like I stated just do your research and pick one that works for you if you truly want to help and donate. Thank you!

I love our vets, I work at a BBQ joint and just gave away $250 worth of food to a 93 year old Marine and his 64 year old Marine son for the Seniors birthday.

WG could have done this 8Bit organization a whole lot of good, but they decided to be cheap bastards. Any company that sells virtual goods could do this, they don't lose any money giving away virtual goods. If I donate $50, WG should give me $50, or really damn close to $50. But to make the rewards basically nothing is a slap in the face.

I bet if war gaming takes a $50 donation they don't even move all the money to the charity. I bet they're deducting the cost of virtual goods, service fee and transaction fee.

I'll just go give $50 directly thru the charity.

I am sorry WG but this is not a good deal. The people above are making good points and this doesn't urge people to donate thru you guys. Mostly people are going to go thru the charity directly. Offer something that will really draw in the crowd since a million credits is not a large reward today, as a day of good games can land me the same amount. Gold and skins would entice more to go for it. Not credits with a month of prem.

I think the player suggestions above are rather mild.  For $250 I would expect nothing less than an EXCLUSIVE tank.  There is nothing in the game that even comes close to this level.  The rarest tanks I've bought have been $100 and they included additional gold or premium time as well.  I am all for charity - I donated to all the ones where we got an emblem - but you're talking about a mountain of cash.

Apparantly you are unfamiliar with the concept of donating...

I was about to give 10.00$ to 8Bits but reading these post made me think and I will pass on this offer.  A unique camo for 25.00$ dollars would have done it for me, but having to do missions to get cheap rewards on top of your donation is cheezy at best.

What a bunch of stingy skinflints.

They set up a donation system with a reward and they only get a zhitp0t of static for doing it.

There are many companies, radio hosts, TV shows, / whatever run charity donations with zero swag for the donors.

The point should be that as a player group that we give some small amount that is equivalent to 2 Star Bucks coffee's to help those that deserve a lot more than they get. The cherry on top is some small reward.

What a bunch of pathetic whining self center azzwipes.

ETA:
This will date me but I'm too po'd at the moment to care. When I was growing up, on Memorial and Veteran's Day; there would be WWI veterans selling paper poppies on the street corner in front of the barber shop. As an 8 year old, I'd dutifully reach into my pocket and drop some change in the can for a red paper poppy with a wire to twist through the button hole. The next day at school, it was WOE UNTO THE KID THAT DIDN'T WEAR HIS POPPY! There was many an azz beating handed out for that. And the teachers stepped in only when the blood started to flow.

Better days with better people.

I know your Just Letting us know from the Higher ups but What they Give away is Basically FAKE currency back to us.. At least Give people what they donated TO THEM don't be Activision and EA i cant cuss but the higher ups really Need to get there heads out of there butts..

Seriously WG.,.. What does it cost for you to give any sort of Silver gold or Prem time? Thats right Absolutely nothing... Its Pixels its not real... Nothing Physical..

All you doing is ''Showing'' your Scamming you care not about anyone but your selves.. If you cared Give the people that Donated the Gold and credits and Premium days That Equal to the Total money..

Anger moment passes..

The people here are not dumb.. they know Video games are just that a game.. So it costs you guys nothing to give them what they Got equal to what they donated.. Sheesh..

My dad would be Disgusted with you and he Worked on the Airplanes so the Pilots could Fly them.. Made sure they worked.. Checked every single bit.. Veterans are the reason why we still have our freedoms.. Now stop being Greedy people...
