After looking at Wot News to check the tank winrate curves.  It's time to post the current best performing Premium Tanks across all levels of skill here.  If you wonder why you don't see the name of a Premium, it's probably because the tank starts overperforming at personal 55% average winrate or above.  These are the tanks that overperform at all skill levels.

Heh, T-28E uses same gun pre-nerf T-28 used to fight in +4 MM, B2 is clubber supreme but horrible crew trainer, KV-2 is just KV-2 so no surprise here.

I am a bit surprised with Pudel and juice box SU-100Y being on list, they are not easiest to play.

I do not think T-34S is in store, wasn't it reward from horrible daily marathon? SU-122-44, not 54. Obj 252U is unskinned Defender, they can be listed together.

Oh I'm sure they'll sell some of them at some point.  I think the reason the Pudel is in there is the combination of armor, good viewrange, dpm and penetration.  For example, the Thunderbolt is almost good enough to get into the list, but not quite.  The Pudel is pretty much a Thunderbolt, but better in every way.   The SU-100Y is just alpha and not everyone has the pen to hurt it.

I got a Ram II for free and the thing is a hot turd, lol

B2s have high WRs because they're usually run by three clubber platoons, lonely ones are free damage nowadays.

Naah, I can easily maintain my 60%+ going solo in my battle cucumbers, platooning it is just asking for Hetzer toon on enemy team :]. Many fresh (when compared to my 8 year old B2) owners that got it in lootboxes and recent sales have no clue how to play it, they are XP piniatas for Hetzies and Ma~.

Then every single person runs it with platoons since 45% winrates to 65%+ winrates all do well on average.

Also I don't know if its just because it's brand new but the TS-5 is just pissing on everything in tier 8, better armor than its peers, equal for top hitpoints, almost 3000 dpm.  You catch it in a corridor and you are basically dead.  The JagdTigr 8.8 may as well be removed from the game because it's literally been replaced. It's almost on par for Tier 9.

Both. Its new and power creeping. You can hurt it from front, but that means you sit in front of 3000 dpm and that is unhealthy. Flanking it sounds good on paper, not so much in practice, and its side armor is still very good so without lolpen of Strv you still need to fully flank it. In Frontline TS-5's mostly die when cresting on cap, as its belly is german-sized and 200mm can go through.

Can't really tell with the TS-5 yet due to the small sample size of battles. I think it'll equalize for that tank once people figure it out. All it has is DPM really, armor is laughable compared to the T28

Not really, looking at the stats the TS-5 is just a better T28.  Even the armor is more curved so you get more bounces.

P.26/40 eats it for breakfast, it's kind of sad tbh.

Considering it's a reskinned B1 is still good, but it's been booted out of throne long time ago.

It's a new tank, give it some time and you'll see its WR stabilizing, lower plate is easier to pen than in T28.

Tier IV

T-28E F30 - It's not really a good tank in comparison to other tier 4s, I'd just consider this an anomaly.

Pz.Kpfw. B2 740(f) - These are popular to seal-club with along with the Valentine II (why isn't that one on this list)

Tier V

T-34S - This was free, but not very special.

KV-220-2 - Good armor, I personally hate the thing but a decent player could carry with it.

Matilda IV - This is trash and only the pro seal-clubbers can play it well.

Ram II - Gotta say, I love this thing. First 3 marked tank (dont hate me plz) and it was a blast. Havent touched it in almost a year at this point but I do have some nice memories of the thing.

105 LeFH - This thing is trash, change my mind.

Tier VI

T-34-85M - Best tank at tier 6, not surprised.

Rudy - The 85M, but worse.

KV-2 ® - Its the exact same thing as a normal kv-2, don't waste your money on this.

SU-100Y - Only the pros can play this thing well, its honestly really bad in most situations.

Pudel - Just a cromwell, but worse.

Why isn't the Type 64 on this list. Its the best tier 6 in the game and doesn't even get acknowledged

Tier VII

Eagle 7 (currently wayyyyy above the others) - This thing is horrible and nobody really plays it. 7 is a strange tier so only the better players like the thing.

IS-2 - Its the normal IS-2, but worse?

SU-122-54 - What even is this thing. It doesn't really exist.

Tier VIII

Defender - Duh

Object 252U - Duh v2

IS-3A - Duh v3

TS-5 - Too new to tell, only the good/committed players got it for free.

50TP - HAHAHAHAHA

Closing note; It's not because the tanks are good (with the exception of the 85M and tier 8s) but it's because the players playing the tanks are good. These really aren't good buys unless you want to;

1.) Seal club

2.) Play a lower-tier because you are too poor to buy a tier 8

My personal must buy list;

1.) TOG II

2.) TOG II

3.) TOG II

Okay you can sit in front of the TS-5 trying to pen the lower plate, I'll just be over here.

Bit of an overreaction with the SU-122-44 typo, dontcha think?

And the Pudel isn't just a worse Cromwell... The Pudel is just a worse VK 30.02 M.

Judging from your closing note, you don't know what a winrate curve is

B2's are often run in platoons, but I have never platooned (ever in game) and had like a 60%+ w/r in my B2...

I have not played it in like 1 year or more...but back then it was, and I think still is, a beast, if people do not know to shoot the turret, which is glass...

Really good post! Thanks for the lineup OP.

The IS3A for me has been a dud so far...sigh. this kinda reminds me to get back at trying to raise its performance status.

Guys, everyone of us have a special tank that is likely Blue and above the average stats. However that is not what the OP suggests.

The OP is stating that by collectively using "stats" there is a trend developing whereby they are showing you which tank that the majority of players are being successfully using.

I love my wee SU85b and it's not included but It's my "go to" tank for fun. It doesn't mean its useless. Just that it's not a tank that is played often enough by the majority.

OP keep up the good work. It must be long and boring but at least it keeps you out of WOT
