You heard it here first!  The Kamikaze Motorcycles are coming soon!

Press Release --- April 21, 2019

The Kamikaze Motorcycles (KM for Short) will be fully announced on April 21st.  Due to overwhelming negative player feedback on the new Wheeled Vehicles, the extreme hatred of Arty, and the camping nature of TDs, a new class of Tank will be introduced --- the Kamikaze Motorcycle.  The KM will feature speeds up to 200 kph, have superb handling, and be equipped with two offensive weapons.  The first is a non-reloadable machine gun that is capable of penetrating Wheeled Vehicles and SPGs from any angle, and TDs from the rear.  The machine gun will have no effect on Heavy, Medium or Light tanks.  The machine gun magazine will hold 500 rounds with a damage potential of 10 HP per round.  Dispersion will be .9 with a 10 round per second firing rate, so you need to get up close and personal to ensure hits.

The second weapon addresses the name of the new tank ... the Kamikaze Motorcycle.  The KM is loaded with 100 pounds of ultra high explosive capable of destroying ANY Wheeled Vehicle or SPG upon impact.  Light Tanks and TDs will ONLY be destroyed if 250 rounds of the machine gun ammo is still left in the magazine.  This extra ammo gives the needed explosive boost for the LT and TD destruction.  Medium tanks will only lose half their HP, and Heavy Tanks will only be tracked and have their commander killed.

The KMs will feature the same auto-aim mechanics of the Wheeled Vehicles, but will auto-aim to the weakest parts of the enemy tank.  Since the new tank moves at 200 kph and is faster than the game can properly render at full speed, the tank is indestructible --- except of course when used in the kamikaze role!  We hope you will enjoy the new tank class designed to remove some of the negative aspects of the game.

The tanks will be available via special missions where you hunt for Easter Eggs on every map.  Each egg has a different point value, and you will need various point totals for the tanks.  Good luck.

----------

I can't wait for these vehicles.  Revenge is finally at hand!

BTW, I heard the above from a hopping good reliable source.

Bad troll. Says Press Release April 21, 2019 (which is improper, it's 21st of April, 2019) then you later say that they will be fully announced on April 21st. Small flaw, but it really gave your whole troll away. Other than that though, it was completely believable. If you edit that first part, then I reckon you'd fool a lot of people.

Hmmm ... I have seen many a press release with the US date format.   But I really though hearing it from a  HOPPING good reliable source would have given it away.  :-)

Hey guys it was a feature in Command & Conquer. Do write off it as make belief. Anything can happen in WOT.

eg: Allied Warfare had wheeled tanks do why when WOT copied AW do you accept it and yet "poo poo" the idea of suicide bikers being used?

If you have thought about any tank that is NOT related to any war then you are deluding yourself. "Different" sells and I believe we will then have dogs running around with a harness made of steel. "Up, up and away, it's Superdog" with his cage of steel that will soon be descending into the realms of WOT and their tanks that never made it.

@OP Ty for starting a most unusual but silly post. One never knows where it may lead :great:

Part of the problem WG has is that once new tanks are introduced, especially premium tanks, it is difficult for WG to remove them or alter their characteristics --- say for instance Wheeled Tanks.  The only way WG has to fix major problems is to introduce something new to counteract the existing problems.  But this leads to a new set of problems.  Think of the OP Premium Tanks.  Think of the Wheeled Vehicles.  Think of Premium Ammo.  There are no easy fixes, hence the post I made. And once a new class is introduced (Kamikaze Motorcycles), what is next?  Drones to take out the KMs?  Then anti-aircraft batteries?  Then radar guided bombs and planes?  Then nuclear strikes?  Once the spiral starts it cannot be reversed.  One can hope that bad decisions don't lead to a death spiral.

Real life has it's analogies.  Humans introduce a non-native species to control an existing one, which cause an ecosystem imbalance which brings the need to introduce a predator, etc, which causes the cycle to be never ending.

Let's hope that WG did not do that with the Wheeled Tanks, otherwise Kamikaze Motorcycles may be the next item to combat them.

His date is in the correct format. April 21, 2019. Not 21st of April, 2019.

The 20kt nuke will BOUNCE off a Clown Car's tire if the mechanics stay the same.

Artillery fired antitank mines and Toyota Hilux firing Sagger missiles is what the game needs...

LOL played another FPS years ago that had motorcycles in it along with tanks.  You had different player classes and the engineer class had anti tank mines they could deploy.  If you were careful you could place a AT mine on the handlebars of the bike and run at a tank.  Right before you got to the tank you jumped off the bike and it would continue straight for another 50 meters or so right into the side of the tank and the AT mine would detonate destroying the tank.  Run back to armory reload your AT mine and repeat.

2 or 3 players with susi cycles could take out a tank column in no time.

Was it Operation Flashpoint? Loved that game.
