why does those things not have a cool down or something? Seriously....constant airdrops on a zone while be captured when you have 8 tanks there. Enemies just drop them until you die then go in and defend. wthis with that crap?

They really need to change how these things are used. you should need LOS to where you want to drop it and be with in some distance to it that, you can' drop them outsize your vertical map zone and there needs to be a cooldown before someone can use one again in that zone.

UMMMMMM....They are on a cooldown. as high as a 360 second and as low as 300 second cooldown, in fact. The game tells you this if you go into the frontline interface in the garage.

What's happening is that everyone on the enemy team so happens to lay waste to you with their individual air/arty strikes at the same time, since they all load up at the same time.

While I don't agree that they should be dropped on LOS (you would get damage farmed before you can drop the darn thing precisely), I do agree that the strikes (especially arty) do need to be nerfed/tweaked.

Like why does arty strike get decreased cooldown as you level it up unlike airstrike???

this is exactly what I mean by needing a cool down. If one is used in ssaid zone, there need to be a cool down before another person can deploy one.

Maybe LOS is too much but a minimum deploy distance or something. you can't sit in the back and just point at the map.

Maybe but its a MAJOR flaw of FL when the other team can NUKE a team into orbit without actually having to get to the cap circle to defend it. They can sit there and kill you all off then move in and mop up without any risk.

One of the huge benefits of not playing a slow heavily armored tank in Frontlines is that you won't get constantly shat on by arty call ins.

More reason to switch to mediums/lights.

Air strikes I don't have much of a problem with, I rarely actually get hit by them or hit anything with them. Artillery strikes on the other hand should be just like SPG's, they fire from the tank using them and don't drop directly down on top of their targets but have a shell arc. It's ridiculous that there's nothing you can do to avoid them. They should both also have a range equal to the the render range of the tank using them.

I personally don't use them anymore because you can actually get more xp using recon and inspire but when I did I found it kind of ridiculous that I could be in the c area and nuke the a area.

what you say makes sense, but WG will argue that gameplay has to trump what would happen on a real battlefield. people would just argue and fight over artillery access.

Is that your phone ringing in the background?

I believe it's your local Armed Forces recruiter calling, with an invite for you to go play on a "REAL" battleground, instead of a video game...

Random is fine i am talking about being able to constantly do it vs a cap zone which is oretty static and your team tries to cap

Maybe be thankful that most of the team are wasting their airstrikes on you and not your teammates? Maybe don't be selfish like you're the only individual that matters? It's on a long cd already and there is no need to make a global timer for it. You're wasting the other teams resources, so you must have been a real threat to them. It's a team game and being bait can be turned into an advantage.
