Normally I would post a nice dissertation in regards to my displeasure.  I just don't have the strength and you have already heard it.

The CODE crap is BAD!

Thank you for your consideration.

As i was about to say another troll thread - but honestly i have to agree the code imputing is fun for bonus codes but not for every event its way out of controll WG please remove the code imputing - its really annoying to go find the code before i even can start playing for the event ---- i like to log in and already be capable of starting the events - but half the time i have to wait till later in the day because the post that contains the code isn't released in a timely manner

Is there a new code to play today?

I do not see it anyway and it's a hour past server reset.

Too much of a good thing becomes overkill. Does Wargaming want people to play their game or spend time hunting for coupons (basically boils down to this). Make something inconvenient and it turns people off.

Of all the things to moan about codes are far down the list.

I disagree, most of my gripes are things that happen IN GAME, which means that when they are irritating me, I'm at least actually playing. Hunting for and imputing codes when I'd rather be playing is a whole different level of time-wasting BS.

Anything that takes players out of game, is just really crappy game design, you never want to break the immersion if at all possible. AND it's transparent flailing on WG's end, foisted on us to put up with, because they can't design their mission UI well.

They're pointless and stupid.

They're also a new addition.

When I get a new weed in my garden I pull it before it gets roots.

Its time WG pulled the "code weed".

The entire premise that players are complaining about the missions UI being cluttered is ridiculous.

Where does one find the posts in the forum where players bemoan the length of the missions UI? Nowhere!

Whats been posted is how badly WG devs have borked the missions UI, not that its too crowded!

Confusing, vague, poorly worded? Sure all of the above!

Too crowded?

Never heard that one.

Screw this code BS for all but a scavenger hunt!

If the missions UI is too "cluttered" for players then create a filter for it with drop down boxes. :izmena:

Its been clearly demonstrated through several code polls that roughly 80% of the players are not pleased with it.

Unnecessary complexity is a WoT curse!

In short, and this will come as no surprise to those familiar with WG, they've screwed up and made some stupid, STUPID, STUPID design decisions and now will punish the players while simultaneously blaming the players for the fact that WG made bad decisions.

I've read that this code nonsense is only on NA, have you heard the same?

Curious to know if its elsewhere or just messing with us.

Wouldn't surprise me, but I have no confirmation one way or the other.

I don't mind the codes.  As someone you use to religiously partake of the tank rewards content, I miss the ability to remotely engage the game on a break at work.  I may be sitting there at work wishing I was home playing WoT but on a break I can do a little code entering and set myself up with some missions and rewards like I used to with tank rewards.  I will readily admit it is not as fun as the Halloween tank reward stuff but it is better than nothing.

yes this testing is only on NA.each server area takes care of its own missions, which is why they tend to vary from server to server.they are looking for data,to see about upping rewards for missions, but the flipside would be that to get the better missions, only those who enter codes would get them.

its pretty silly.i would prefer keep the missions be automatically in your UI,and prizes stay where they are at.

the uproar this has caused may be enough to kill the idea, but we wont know until they actually say codes go away.

and yes there were a few who complained about mission UI clutter...not sure if they knew about collapsing the sections of the UI.

and it would be best if this kind of thing went away, and a tankrewards style thing returned.THIS MAY BE AN ATTEMPT TO REPLACE TANKREWARDS!!! maybe they think they could avoid developing that replacement and just go enter-codes-better-rewards. thats just a side thought i had.im hoping im wrong.
