Meta tanks include (but aren't limited to)

Obj. 277, WZ 111 5A, Strv 103B, Obj 907, T95/FV (sometimes Obj 279e and Obj 268 V4).

At least for clan wars.

Depends on which meta you serve.

And additionally include (but aren't limited to)

Obj. 140, Obj 430U, T-100 LT, EBR 105, Super Conqueror (sometimes B-C 25t and AMX 50 B)

At least for clan wars.

I think in WoT the term meta is mostly used to describe the best tanks to own for clan battles. Are you wanting to know that or which tanks are the best to play at different tiers?

The "meta", or metagame, can be loosely defined as the dominant strategy in a game. In terms of WoT, "meta" tanks are tanks which perform well in organized play; generally, these tanks also perform well in Random Battles, as they tend to be quite powerful overall.

Basically I find that if I check my garage, it's mainly the tanks I don't have.

What a typical list would look like;

Obj 277, 5A, IS-7, Strv, E3, Type 5, Maus, 907/140/430U, LT-100, EBR, T57, Conq GC, M53/55, Sconq, Cheftain, just the ones that come to mind.

As for the Swedish mediums coming next patch, they won't be meta for sure. Their gun is ok, but they almost play more of a medium distance role, something that isnt good for mediums in clan wars. If you do want a medium-distance medium, there are already better tanks in place for that. The whole specialty of being able to use siege mode and get hull down is null when the major advantage of a medium is using its speed the maneuver around the map and brawl.

As for the Kranvagn, it's ok but it's also beat by other tanks that already fill the roll of a hull down heavy. The cheftain or Sconq is much more reliable than a Kran will ever bee, so that won't be in the meta either.

4005 wasnt in the meta so that doesnt change anything.

Type 5 is certainly complete trash at this point. Tested it out in a training room against various tanks and its premium doesnt hit for more than 100 most times, standard still only hits for around 150. Its complete trash unless you are shooting mediums which is completely useless for the Type 5. The Maus will most likely fill the Type's role in CWs once again.

Once the premium ammo nerfs and SPG nerfs roll out, the whole meta will shift heavy sided. 140s would be out, leaving the 907 and 430U as better options. TDs may be more or less popular, not sure. Arty will serve no place in the meta even when 1.5 drops. Lights would still be left in but the EBR would be most popular for active scouting and the T-100 would be used for more passive scouting runs.

"Meta" describes different tanks in different contexts.
However: here is a list of the current meta tanks for Tier X competitive matches (with some other tanks occasionally used for very specific niche roles)

Fast (push) heavies: Obj 277, WZ-111-5A, Obj 260

Support Heavies: Chieftain, Super Conqueror

Superheavies: Type 5, Maus

Scouts: EBR 105 (active), T-100LT (passive), Bat-Chat

Mediums: Obj 907, Obj 140, Obj 430U

Overwatch: STRV-103B, K-91, T95E6

Autoloader (burst damage) Heavies: AMX50B, T57

Heavy TDs: T110E3, Obj 286 v4, Badger

Arty: CGC, T92
