Other than the paint job is there any difference between these tanks?

Is the paintjob on the Defender locked on or can it have camo applied? (Well aware camo is basically pointless, just curious about the look)

Camo is not pointless... Whoever told you that is stupid.

There is no difference other than the camo. Also, it is locked.

Other than the camo, they're exactly the same tank.

No, you cannot put camo on the Defender.

The same tank, just one comes with Sprinkles and the other one is plain.

Nope the sprinkles are a perm camo.

Isn't the Defender camo about half the rating as perm camo on a 252u?

Some argue that the mudflaps by the front end of the tracks while only cosmetic, give the impression of extra armor, which may deter some from shooting you there to hit your side. These are on the 252U.

it's a heavy.... and an op one why would you be worried about a more camo... you shouldn't be sniping in this turd anyways.

HaHa you funny. Calling it op and a turd in the same sentence.

More camo is always better regardless of what it's on.

I bought the 252u because I like to personalize my tanks with camo and insignia...

I was also hoping at least a few of the people who are hard-wired to think "Defender, OP, bad, must target first" will not realize that an Obj. 252u is the same tank.

So why the 2 tanks if they are exactly the same? Makes no sense to me …

It's OP as an in-tier brawler but a turd as a long-range sniper, it's not rocket surgery.

Unless you’re poor and fat you own both, so just test it out yourself.

Just bought the 252u, just so I can have both for frontlines lol.  No more waiting for my point capture tank now.

Defender stock with stock 100 crew Concealment  144

object 252 with the plane green wrapper concealment 105

Object 252 with all the camo emblems decals inscriptions  and other goodies 144

so basically the Defender saves you around 1700 or so in gold. or the Object 252 costs you camo. if you get both you now have a tank you can do a "rolling thunder" set of games with you constantly going back and forth between them,

or you can buy one tank and pay roughly the same the price of two and  also get Get

%X XP for the first 20 wins in the Object 252U Defender
Improved Ventilation Class 3
Large-caliber Tank Gun Rammer
Vertical Stabilizer Mk. 2
1,000,000 Credits
3,500 Gold
7 Days Premium Account

Will they still give you a 252u skin if you have the defender?

Maybe so sometimes the snipers don't see you.
