So l was corrected, l always thought the lock-assist was 15 degrees, but have seen it is 2.25. And this seems to be the defense many have for armoured cars, and that it is fine, it doesn't really help much. Lets take a look at this, and try not to laugh at such an absurd thing to say.

2.25 degrees, will roughly equate to 5%. At 150m, a target will have a leeway linear cone spherically, of 7.5m roughly. Round down to 7m, to make sure degree / percent matches. So, at 150m, the supposed target, has basically an entire vehicle length of leeway to -miss- your auto-aim click.....l don't know about other guys, but when l miss auto aim clicks, l miss it by 3ft. Not 7m. So when a fast light tank or armoured car is zooming around, circling about like a crazed shark, and l spend half a dozen auto-aim clicks to finally score a lock  -  l am missing its outline by a few feet.  Not 7m.  As this is linear, this distance is 22m at 450m....which is basically two Type 4 lengths....This span, for auto-aim lock is roughly 1/4 the allowed gun traverse SU100Y gets, with the gun in the center at the start. Picture that at 100m, 200m, 300m, 400 and so on. Basically, armoured cars get that for free.

This is a tremendous advantage. As most of the time people struggle to find an auto-aim lock and are desperately clicking, they are BARELY missing the vehicle outline. Not widely mis-clicking by 7m. Why people say it does not help much*** l have no clue, its quite obvious it is broken as heck. Compounded with excellent AC soft gun stats and aim-time.

Wheeled tanks are fine, why don't you grind up to them and give them a play? It shouldn't take too long to get your account to tier 6 to play them.

This is a forums. No one is supposed to take anything seriously, ever.

Which is why l too, don't take people serious when they don't feel the need to read anything.

Such people, that avg 2.3K damage in a good tier ten, for instance, to what people regularly post 3.5K nowadays.

About the same sort of serious.

Are you complaining about the auto aim on wheelies? perhaps not, if not ignore me...or, ignore me anyway ;)

Get the auto aim mod yourself...then you have same thing...

Can't understand complaining about something that you can get, but wont or don't...

Can't understand why people refuse to take advantage of an advantage available to them via mods.

Is it principles of some sort, or a perverse desire to make things harder on yourself?

Auto aim sucks anyway at even moderate distances, especially in low pen tanks...
