It's been a looong time since I last played my JPanther. After quite a while of passing it in my tank carousel, I decided to finally play it again. The old full-female crew had long been replaced, so I tried to find the most trained crew members I had and clicked battle.

My first match was on El Halluf, Spawning in the north. I was middle tier and moved to the heavy brawl area at B2. Hiding behind the large rock between the open space and the edge of the map, I traded shots with an ISU and Black Prince. I was immediately surprised with how many rounds I kept bouncing off of my upper plate. With the maximum armor thickness on the JP being only 80mm I was not expecting much, but I began to play more aggressively as many shots from the ISU-130 kept going ping against the armor.

I was brought down to around 200 hp but began to push a Löwe with a fellow teammate. All in all, it was a great match. 1,554 dmg in a mid-tier game and over 1.2k xp.(no premium acc)

I love this tank! Why did I ever forsake you? :D

Since I already had a T25 AT, which is pretty much the same but with better gun arc, depression and elevation, I just got past it without a second thought.

JP 2 on the other hand was so great I used the Großtraktor to prepare a crew for the Jagdtiger.

T25AT has worse gun handling, worse gun arc (+/- 10 instead of +/- 11 on the JP), worse DPM (-200 less), worse dispersion. the advantage is its better camo, mobility and gun dep/elev.

the JP is the generalist. other than its very good gun handling, it doesnt do anything extremely well. other tanks are more mobile, have better gun dep, better DPM, better armoured but the JP just combines things nicely. it also looks damn sexy
