I have been thinking about all the different T8 premium heavy tanks, because I kinda need a money maker. I really don't have a premium tank, and I kinda need one to farm credits efficiently and maintain my fleet of tanks. What is the best T8 heavy for farming credits. Is there one? what is each's strength and weakness?  I am kinda the guy who likes big derp guns and all-round armor. Speed is not important unless it is especially slow. Thanks!

P.S. I am looking at grinding the American line (T29, specifically) via the sherman jumbo. Is that a good idea? is the US line any good?

The Berlin Six deal is good and all those tanks are solid. Plus the BIA crews are extra strong for a new player such as yourself.

You could also try the KV220 on sale. It has a normal turret on a crazy T7 heavy hull. The only tank in the game where you want to bait the enemy into shooting your sides. If you master that trick and are top tier you can decimate team red.

No, never get the T29 via the Jumbo, you need the 90mm via the M6. The T34 is your premium if you really want to go American. It will allow you to train your crews. IS-6 has suffered from massive power creep and isn't any good.

Do not buy Tier 8 premium tanks before reaching that tier in tech tree. You do not even know how much you don't know, stick to tiers 5/6/7 and learn basics first.

Do not go for T29 via Shermans, or at least unlock 90mm on M6. Playing T29 with stock gun should be punishable by public trout slapping.

Best tier8 heavy = Defender

If there's one thing you should know by now, its that WG's only after your money! And what's the best way to make money: create or inflate artifiacially the demand. They do that by making all the best prem tanks only available through rare sale, for a short period. Or by gambling!!! (IS-3A )

So yeah, get a Defender, Skorpion G, Progetto46, T-44-100, LT-432 and you pretty much have all the best tier8 prem tanks.

For the T29 grind, go with the Easy8, then the T20. Research the 90mm gun cause its the same on the T29 and the stock grind is way more simple on the T20. Once fully researched, T29 is a  really good tank but the credit earning was nerfed long ago so expect to loose credits here and there.

Also the tier 6 Type 64 is one of the best light tanks in the game, period.

You know that, in this game at least, Soviet and Russian are the same thing, right?

Yes. If your new, and wanna buy prem tanks go for this. Free BIA crew is a blessing in this game. Use it. You get multiple Russian crews, one US, one Brits and one German. All these must be retrained with gold to maximize its value, but lucky you! Theres 2k gold in the package! Just make sure to wait for a sale on retraining cost. Theses tanks are no tier8, but they will earn some credits, enough for someone who doesnt run CWs or full tier10.

All of those premiums listed will make good credits. Since you are gonna grind the US hvy line (if I understand you correctly), than as a deciding factor, you should get the T34 for the additional US crew training. Personally I would get the Patriot over the T34. I never grind a line unless I have a premium for that line to train the crews.

LOL Trout slapping and he is correct on all accounts especially the T29 with the "stock" cannon.

Take my view as you want, but I'm finding in today's current meta of press #2 for skill armor to me seems less relivant to gun handling.
