Lately Ive been noticing some peculiar play styles among teammates in some matches. That is to say, doing odd things that just don't make sense, like pulling out and presenting the whole side of their tank when encountering an enemy or like stopping in the open once a target becomes lit and spaming away shots and other odd behaviors that even new players would know not to do.

It reminds me very much of the play styles of the A.I tanks we used to have in that one training mission mode that WOT used to have. . ive noticed some of those same ones with accounts only a couple months old yet have thousands of battles and yet they still play that way.

There is no way i can prove this but i am seeing ever increasing A.I.  type of game play in "SOME" matches

Anyone else notice this? Or is my tinfoil hat on too tight???:harp:

Do they show you their rear ends when engaging?, at least those tasty bots on SA server do.

If you're at tier 5 and lower on the SA server, bots (signified by a ":" before and after their name, which is usually a name) help fill matches  and they behave, well... Like bots.  They do dumb because they've been programmed poorly.

Thanks for that helpful info. I'll keep  keep my eye open for that.

Although i have noticed an increase in these types of mannerisms even above tier 5.

In that case it's just confirmation bias, or you're getting better at the game and you're finally noticing things that have been happening all along.

Doesn't sound that unusual for a lot of players.

I have noticed as of lately I get less, “scout LT” map pings and battle chat messages. Happens now and again. I spend more time watching twitch wot like SirFoch, and Orzanel and skill4ltu.

There are a host of other good players too but not on twitch.

Anyway, I do think that more players should watch streamers more often.

Every game is totally unique so if I try something circon or skill did or whomever it may not work that particular game but one shouldn’t forget what one learned or saw because the next time ya get that map, try.

A couple really nice positions I have learned about just recently from twitch and at the end of the game when I am most suited, it pays off in spades and a win.

Game does come with its frustrating times though like fully aimed and the shot goes way off.

Such is wot I guess.

At least they lack a no cap all kill mentality lol

Ive seen bots alone against one or two players and they cap out the player's base. I think there's a Claus video on it :D

This is what happens when players that are tier 4 level play tier 8 tanks.

Bots and bad players with 6th sense who are looking at the wrong person/most obvious target instead of the one about to hammer them in the side.  Tunnel vision is rampant and the #1 reason most players hate Artillery.  IMO, it takes a long time to break this habit unless you have been playing games that require you to multitask for years. ( or decades in my case )

That was a funny video and I was surprised at the end. The two bots are sitting in cap and one drives over and knocks a wall down in front of the building, then backs away. The enemy arty (the only human left in the game) then blind fires at that spot.

That's also what happens when a player is smacked in the face with an unwinnable situation and they feel hopeless.

If my regular, old T8 medium is swarmed by wheelies, should I break a sweat and burst a blood vessel pointlessly trying to endlessly turn with them or save myself the trouble and let them have their fun and move on?

Better to give someone the kill/creds/exp than drown myself.

all rerolls or name changes should make use of the bot :username: format to mess with people
