Japort and Airlines. Dez introduced these on January 8, 2018

With a quick google search there hasnt been any updates on these maps that I can find.  All the results are from January '18.

If WG has dropped them it wont be the first time.  Years ago when Northwest was introduced there were 2 other maps that were announced around the same time.  One was named Sonoma and it was a Arizona desert looking map. I cant recall the name of the other map.

This game needs a new map monthly, or at LEAST with each and every update.

They took a back seat. Introducing the wheelies, that no one wanted or needed was more important to the devs, for reasons. You see you can't make money off of maps. They just are what they are.  But you can with premium tanks. And premium wheelies.  I sure do miss North West and Pearl River though.

The boring map repetition is the main reason I don't play much any more. I'm so sick of seeing some maps I could easily block a dozen of them.

Wait...what about Premium Maps?  $20 per map, and only players who buy them can play on them...

I am tired of the pivot maps where heavies go to the pivot point and they cannot play aggressive from the pivot because the pivot opens to an array of TDs and undoubtedly 3 arty per team.  It is such a camp promoter and makes the game slow and boring!  Sand River, Karelia, Muravanka top corner, Redshire blimp.. you get the idea.

Oh... you know it's coming. Why do you think we get slots for banning maps - they are a stepping stone to premium maps you can load like a consumable. You get to choose the map you play AND you get an XP boost, to make you fear loosing out by not buying them. :hiding:

They're plenty of maps they could bring back in revamped versions if they actually cared. Too bad every new map they make is complete garbage ever since they came out with Paris.

Just let the community members design and vote on maps they like so WG could implement them a little later, that way the community actually gets what they want.

We need all  the maps they can make, reborn or just bring as they were, and to increase their rotation

Honestly I suspect what they are finding with the map exclusions is that people don't like specific tank advantaged maps and those maps are significantly reduced in the rotations.  I for example blacklisted Muravanka and Fisherman's bay because I don't like wide open maps or pivot maps.  I know other heavy tank drivers have blacklisted the same maps, whereas many people really dislike Ensk, Pilsen etc. which of course are the maps many heavy drivers enjoy.  Kursk will be interesting because it attempts to meet the interests of most drivers as did Ghost town.  I can see that being the new normal.

Fisherman bay is awful after the rework. all those bushes on the city turned the map into a campfest.

I'm glad they removed stalingrad,  windstorm was great swamp before the rework was fun as all get out.  I miss North West, Hidden Village and Pearl River the most.

That's your call, I liked the map and I hope it comes back.

You can now block it if you hate it so badly.

This, or I am even in favor of adding one while pulling one out every month, because absence makes the heart grow fonder?  And in the summer, roll out Fiery Salient while withdrawing Prokhorovka, and then re-inserting Prokhorovka and withdrawing Fiery Salient after the summer is over.  But while the map is withdrawn, move a few bushes and trees around.  Throw in a house somewhere while removing another, so that when a map returns in a couple or few months, there are some subtle differences not readily seen that makes the map feel a little fresher again.

I hope you like long waits in a queue because limiting certain maps as premium content almost assures only a small fraction of the playing community will be available to play it.
