Not sure if this is mentioned in this thread, if so pardon me as I missed it.

Just a reminder folks though I doubt anyone that is gonna buy it won't because of this.

The 183 isn't a regular prem as it was a tech tree conversion for current owners when they swapped it for the Badger.

And because of that it earns standard credits and xp.

Standard credits, yes, but it does have increased crew training.  This is the same as all the other Premium X's in the game.  Regardless, people will want it because it's rare now.

I have it.

Sale price is 1,000 credits.  NOT a typo.

Guessing cause this was a conversion from a tech tree not bought.

I'll edit in a screenshot cause some folks will claim Bravo Sierra.

Wow! Now that's what I call getting a return on one's investment! I only wish I could buy 2 of these!

BM Sexton I

Did you sell the sexton? So basically you took someone a chance to buy a collectable and sold it for peanut profit? Bottom feeder?

It cost 300k and the selling price is 250k so unless he was doing it for a garage slot he would have lost out on the deal if he had sold it

Basically, so far, the only good deal for free-to-play players like myself has been the M41 90mm GF.

I'd argue the 183 is a "good deal" if you're looking for pure giggles and have credits to burn. I have an unholy excess amount of credits to go through, but I am very suspicious about WG's current setup. Between the Type 59G and now the 183, we've seen two tanks that are being sold for massive amounts of currency. Will WG continue to roll out the super expensive tanks, or are they putting these two up front to weed out the people who have only barely enough to afford them?

Speculations about "THE ONLY" have little import.....  There's FOURTEEN sales. We have seen FIVE of them. There's no telling what the rest of the week will bring.

Of course because you can always get more credits by buying gold and converting it. Put out a rare enough tank and someone is going to go for it even if its stupidly expensive. Wg is a business out to separate you from your money after all with the game being the means to do said separation. This is why the game can seem so frustrating at times because designing in mechanics to get you to spend money is just as much a part of development as making the game fun and entertaining. Their goal is to make the game just fun enough to keep you interested so you will spend money to get the emotional peaks of op prem tanks or prem ammo spamming ect. Seems to be working well for them.

Well, no interest in the FV215b...and not that much in any TierX (unless it's an M60), so i can sit this one out.

Meathead took all the M60 codes with him when he left.

Wish I could get an M60 as I was a tanker on an M60A3 back in the day.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he didn't.  He was replying to my earlier post (and request) for anyone for a black market silver prem to advise it's sell price.

If we have any Type 59 G owners that would go through that menu and provide the return price it'd be appreciated.   Just don't enter the sale price confirmation code and sell it. :P

Wow on both counts.

Seems like the regular BM silver prems (Sexton was confirmed) sell for 1/2 their price like tech tree tanks.

The standard type sells for 2.1 million.  I thought the gold would sell like a normal prem since it was bought with gold.

The original 183 sells for 1000 credits (remember folks it's not a regular prem) I confirmed that myself.   Wasn't sure if it'd be half the purchase for a BM refund or 1000.  Where in the hell did they come up with those numbers. :P

Continuing an earlier post, so some of this is copy/pasted.

Just curious for folks that have bought any of the tanks that's been on sale in Black Market what do they sell for in credits.  You can check without completing the transaction.

I've got all of them so far except the gold Type, but I've got the non-skinned version.   Here's what they sell for silver for me.

Copy/pasted Warchild's list so I'll list what they sell for for me after his entries which includes numbers sold and the price.  This is just the tank(s), no ammo, gear, etc..

1) Black Bulldog M41 90 GF (5,000) - $5M Credits

  • 1,300,000 credits

2) FCM36Pak40 (3,500) - $3.5M Credits

  • 170,000 credits

3) Type 59G (500) - 25,000 Gold

  • Type 59 Standard not Gold - 2,100,000 credits

4) Sexton 1 (2,500) - 500,000 Credits

  • 650,000 credits

5) FV215b183 (5,000) - 23,000,000 Credits

  • 1,000 credits (not a typo, this is a special tank not a regular prem hence the sale price)

What we know from posters.

The BM Sexton sells for 250,000 silver which is half it's purchase price.  Thanks to Amaruk.

So the other regular premium BM tanks likely sell for 1/2 their purchase price like tech tree tanks.

The Type 59 G sells for 3 million credits.  Thanks Nuclearguy931.

The FV215b183 sells for 20,700 silver.  Thanks DrWho_.

Originally "gift/reward" tanks sold for normal amounts like standard prems. But with people selling anniversary tanks for garage slots they changed it to 1000 credits for all gift/reward tanks. Although I think this is all speculation since I don't think WG told us that specifically (as far as I know.
