I don't agree with everything he says but I do think, 100%, that Claus is the only youtuber to say these things about the game, and go into as much detail as to what potential problems there are with the game.

Have a look and see what he says about the state of the game.

Aging Jedi aka MarkGFL addressed many issues in the past. Look him up on YouTube.

I'd say that SirFoch and Dez also shoot from the hip when it comes to the state of the game.

Claus is a good content creator and I watch his videos often, but honestly, he's not the best player, and I often find his criticisms of the game to be erroneous at best.

One problem is there are so many people who want 5 minute games.

I've heard many complaints about games that take too long.

It's a twitch fest these days and not as in twitch streamers...

yea i used to like the longer games when its was so close it would go back and forth and it came down to just you or a couple people heart pumping you do not have that anymore alot of what hes talking about is true but there are other factors as well

Only watched 4 minutes of the video and it's commentating of a terrible map with the combination of an incompetent team losing.

All I'm hearing in this time span is an argument/complaint about wheeled tanks...Yet again

ln all honesty this has happened for a long time, at least l think so

Back in 2011-12 when l did the grind tiers 3-6, teams won/lost 15-4

The games were also 6-7min. This is not a new concept.

Most of Skill4ltu newer content, mentions 2019 gaming.

Which is losing 15-4 or winning 15-4, welcome to 2019.

lt largely has to do with bad players. Bad comparative play from bad players,  is very funneling. They like to keep everything in front of them, in narrow spaces, short ranges. They like to go beach on overlord, or down 1-2 valley ridges empires border  (as seen in Clause vid)  or valley hillside Arctic Region  (again seen in vid)  valley on Lakeside, city on fisherman bay. 1-2 valley on Cliff, J-K corner on Fjords,  water inlet lakeside on Airport.  As you can see, the common trend, this caliber of player like narrow passages, with enemies appearing in front of them - and they certainly like to follow allied players  (lemming behaviour)  And this leads to snowball losses. None of this play, includes securing important ground, contesting high ground, getting valued intel or early spots / dmg. And there you have it, majority of players are still 46-50% WR, majority of people involved are more or less bad, this is not a new concept.

I played for about a month or so in 2011 and I don't notice much of a difference, some games were super short and some weren't. I do remember there were light tanks(T-50-2's?) that were really fast and would spot practically the whole team in the first minute or less.  One of the things that made me quit was having a game where only the red team had a tier 10 heavy(it may have been a Maus) that just plowed over our whole team while I, in a tier 5 light, almost expended all my ammo at it and never did any damage. Just seemed like a really stupid game back then.

Claus is a ton better than that subject of the crown who has a wife that WG mailed him for shilling out for them all these years.

and yet, when you see a heavy going sniper, or a light sitting in red lines, or tier VIII medium going to "brawl" with tier X super heavies

and you point out the stupidity, talking about tanks and supposed roles in the battlefield, you get that ridiculous "did you just assume MY role?"

YES idiot, i just assumed your damn role.. because you picked a super heavy and you went where TDs use to go to snipe instead where heavies go to brawl..

each class has its damn role in the field, either you like it or not..

and when you dont play your class according to how is ment to be played, and you dont go where the map demands you to go according to your class,

you are just cancelling a crucial tank for your team..

why pick a 60TP or a type 5 when your plan is to go camp somewhere and snipe?

pick a damn grille instead.. what? you dont have one? then tough luck, but that doesnt mean you are allowed to turn your 60TP to a useless camping sniper..

so many pricks dude.. so many..... :/

plus one for the vid..

and respect to Claus, he is one of the best youtubers out there..

edit: and that thing with the entire team going to one side of the map is so damn lame.. and its happening so often latelly that is getting ridiculous..

WG should adupt a system similar to that in frontlines and put a stop to how many tanks can join a flank..

"that flank is full commander! go somewhere else.. sorry for the inconvenience and happy hunting!"

PS: so many pricks dude.. so many.............

Just watched this video, and then after happened to see this forum posting.. Yeah I think this very issue needs to be looked at by Wargaming even if they don't change anything, just the idea that they may be listening to the player reactions and feedback is what will matter.  Perhaps they want to steer the game in a different direction, or maybe its an experiment, who knows what goes on behind closed doors. But the thing is have said over the past few years, even when I walked away from all Wargaming products, is that so many other game companies could learn so much from how Wargaming listens and makes changes (totally talking about Bethesda and FO76).  WG is not the greatest but they do pay attention, and most of the time they don't ignore concerns from the players.  The downside is that the NA crowd is still way smaller than everyone else (i am totally basing that off of the Black Market tanks available numbers) and so maybe the rest of the player base(s) are wanting this or enjoying this way more than us, it is really hard to say.  But that is definitely something else for WG to think about and address perhaps.

But yeah his video was spot on and hopefully more people will see it and throw out some opinions about the direction WoT is going.

Yep, I have seen skill4ltu talking about being on both sides of the roffle stomp. In summary he seems to be saying roffle stomps are just a regular part of the game now and they happen no matter who you are.

I took heart from this because sometimes reading the forum here its almost like, "If your team gets roffle stomped its all your fault". :)

Well to some extent it is. But overall a lot is not in the control of the individual. Kind of refreshing to get that confirmation.

What you're seeing is some tomato with a 43% W/R come here and whine about having 12 15-0 losses in a row and that it's the games fault whereas a 60% player might complain that out of their last 12 games they had 5 15-0 losses. The difference is the 43%er is always going to put his team at a disadvantage where a 60%er is not so in the long term it makes a difference how well you play.

This is a kid that does nothing but rant and rage about how he hates the game and what is done to it, but continues to make YouTube videos and MONEY off said videos about it.

Don't trust a word the kid says, he's full of hot air and salt.

you obviously don’t listen to Claus. First of all he’s not a kid, and secondly, he routinely, in almost every video says that world of tanks is simply the greatest game in the world. His videos cover a variety of topics some of which deal with problems in the game or with the players. Most of his videos are educating and or entertaining or both and anyone who thinks differently either doesn’t listen to Claus or is just simply an old curmudgeon.
