Woke up today to play wot, open it up and I'm running at a literal 5 FPS. I normally run this game on ultra with 150+. So I deleted mods, reinstalled, made sure nothing was running in the background, made sure I wasn't overheating. Go back to it and now i get a solid 20. Does anyone have any more ideas? I loaded up other games and they ran fine. I have a GTX 1070, an i7-7700 processor and 16gb of ram. Using a hard drive, which has like 600gb of storage still.

Did you make sure that you were not running on the integrated graphics on your cpu?

Get a monitoring software like PrecisionX and see what your nvidia GPU does. As commando61 said it could be that your i7 integrated GPU is rendering, not the nvidia card. Make sure you get drivers for your video card from nvidia, not from Windows automatic update.

I don't believe that your FPS is a WOT issue.  I am running 200+ FPS depending on the view. I am running Ultra HD.

Ultra SD or Ultra HD?

Download and run Pingplotter and see if you are experiencing network issues.

You can also run the Windows performance monitor and look for hard faults and disk I/O delays.

If you use corsair products you might want to make sure those drivers and firmware are up to date...I ran into similar issues a few months ago and eventually figured out it was out of date iCUE was the cause.

I'll start a session a 60-70fps no problem as I play after a period of time, I'll suddenly be at 50 fps, then I'll drop to 40, then I'll drop to 30 and so on (noramlly this wouldnt be a problem, but I get slightly less FPS in sniper mode and it become harder to play as the FPS drops below 30). A restart of the game client doesnt help once Im back in the game the FPS remains what it last was. Starting the game in safemode doesnt help, nor does removing mods. It only affects World of Tanks (and oddly World of Warships). If I launch another game the game runs fine (Ive specifically tred Subnautica and War Thunder and both have run fine while this is occurring with WoT and WoWs). The only way I can fix this is to restart my computer, at which point my FPS returns to normal, (and eventually the process starts all over).https://solitaire.onl/ 9apps.ooo/ https://bluestacks.vip/
