imagine how it must feel to have your clan spotlighted literally only because of a clan vote (on the name) and the fact that millions sacrificed their lives 75 ish years ago.

kinda low tbh.

Well as Cee Lo Green says...

Forget you...

Because all clans that have to be featured have to be unicum.  And I wanna say some other

things, but I gotta keep it civil

You may be unaware that D-Day is a general term for the day of an operation, there's actually also H-Hour for the hour of the start of the operation as well.

For those of you who have reached out to our community over the years thank you. It's always been fun working with you.

Remember, if you're not having fun then you're doing it wrong.

Nice guys finish last, and bad girls appreciate it!

(read that again till you get it - heh)

And apparently WGNA likes it too.

The D-DAY (casual competitive) and HHOUR (social) community have prided ourselves in having a group that focuses on “Good people who play tanks too”. Our long standing rules of conduct have given us a reputation for having little tolerance for those who rage and try to make the game painful for friend and opponent alike.

Over the years we’ve had to let a lot of skilled player go because they lacked the maturity or decorum to wear our tags. Conversely it has also attracted some great human beings who have found their “forever clan”, and occasionally propelled D-DAY into the top 20s and 30s in Clan Wars. HHOUR also has a couple of alts who’s main accounts are in much better clans, but they enjoy hanging out and playing in our relaxed environment. The fact that our Team Speak often has a lot of mild-mannered friends hanging out is a source of pride for our cabal of clan leadership.

Why did I type all that?

Because we did not get picked for clan spotlight because of the clan name.

But because we work hard to make the social and in-game experience of WoT a better experience for all by, hosting periodic open-to-all training, clan games, Pz1C races, and the ‘real-life comes first / leave it better than you found it’ attitude.

Because we spent years building a reputation where top-10 clans have worked with us in Clan Wars.

AND ALSO because of the Clan(s) name. heh.

Thank you WGNA for this once-in-a-clan’s-lifetime opportunity.

We are humbled and grateful to be considered worthy of being counted amongst the giants in this game.

And thank you to all those (on both sides) who stepped into the breach 75 years ago, and paid the ultimate price. Your valor is why we at D-DAY and HHOUR carry the tags. We only hope that we do so in a manner respectful of your great and terrible efforts. May none of us ever forget.

See you on the field!

What is really low is you and your buddy coming in here and acting like [edited]. I know most of D-day and they are a great bunch of guys. They at least have some class and maturity, something you two are obviously lacking.

Hey, Thanks WG!  Honored that you feature us.

Like Mac said, it's not because of the name, though that's conveniently appropriate this month.
We work our butts off to make a respectable presence in competitive modes and we work even harder at setting the example for sportsmanship, respectfulness, and having fun.

Our Teamspeak is open to everyone who wants to come hang out and enjoy the game.  Come on over and visit us.

Congrats to D-Day for being featured! I've played with this clan for a couple advances and they are a great group of guys. They definitely deserve the spotlight for running a great community.

Let's keep this civil and have respect for everyone's opinions, Regardless of how negative they might be, After all this is just a game. With that said let us enjoy the game, read the thread. But most important lets us have a moment of silence for those who given the ultimate sacrifice to insure that we have and enjoy our freedom on this day 06JUN.

Thank you and have a great day

Thank you WG for featuring D-DAY & HHOUR in the Clan spotlight on a date where 75 years ago the liberation of Europe began.
