Howdy Boom Jockeys!

 

For those of you new to the game. You play the game all month long get some tokens then after the event ends you spend them on in game goods and premium tanks. 

 

Tokens are earned in different denominations depending on tier of vehicle played. 

 

This month's theme for Tank Rewards is the 75th Anniversary of D-Day and runs from 1Jun19 until 30Jun19.

No compensation if you have the tanks is going to make Tank Rewards pointless for a lot of people. Unfortunate.

Some might suggest to sell the existing tanks to get the credits and then earn them back via tank rewards.  I use these tanks almost daily (tier 6 skirmishes) and so going this route will actually cost me credits to destroy mounted equipment and buy it back or gold to dismount equipment.

 

I understand the NA staff is trying and your playing the cards you've been dealt, but candidly, it almost seems as if minks is trying to kill the NA server via attrition (via dissatisfaction) so when they finally shut it down it won't seem like such a significant event - saving them some face.

So why bring tank rewards back if there is no rewards for those that have been loyal to the game for so long they don't get any compensation for the 3 tanks being offered?

I already have all 3 tanks. No gold/credit compensation. This just sucks big time. Please revise this rule.

 

Also the original tank rewards is popular because it has gold compensation. 

 

This one is dead on arrival.

Can you get the premium tank if you don't have a tier IX or X tank? You can't buy one and I'm a loooong way from a grind to one. If you don't have one you can't complete the last mission.

What about the crews? Will you get them at 100% if you already own the tank(s)?

Although I'm glad TR is back, the fact that you can't get Gold anymore (or even credits) just goes to show you that everything Wargaming touches gets nerfed.

Yeah, was really excited to see this news then realized I'd already purchased (Not won in some event, but purchased all 3 tanks) all 3 reward tanks. So, in essence I screwed myself by spending money. I understand the reluctance to keep issuing gold repeatedly, but it'd be nice if you could at least cash in once so I could honestly say I won the tank.

 

No offense KRZY, most of us appreciate all you guys do, but in all honesty this stinks. Wonder if at a minimum it'd be possible to institute a one time gold compensation for reward tanks?

Probably no crew and no garage slot would be my guess.

And most of those people are the ones who pay for the game TBH. I understand that this will help new/f2p players, but that can be done without pissing off their more important customers, no?

While I know free is free, those who have the tanks are going to get less of a reward for putting in the same amount of time and effort as those that don't...

So WG is punishing the players who have either paid money for the tanks, or who are veterans who have earned them in-game in previous events - you know, the ones who put money into the game to pay your salaries, or have stayed with the game over a number of years keeping the server populations going. Great job WG, you absolute legends!

How about bonds for previously purchased tanks, you guys said that you were looking for ways to replace the bond earning lost when Ranked Battles was terminated. This could be it.

They've been trying to kill arty this way for years, yet folks keep playing them.

 

I agree with the others about frustration with no gold/credit rewards for the three tanks.

 

What I also don't understand is, for a D-Day mission, why are Swedish and Soviet tanks even rewards?

Geez, why penalize those that already own these tanks? Fair enough not gold, but it wouldn't hurt to give some creds.
