Hmm I don't remember that bit. Must be time to rewatch this movie again.

What I do remember from that movie is the paratroopers who were driven off their resupply point and the Allied supply drops could not be rerouted (bad contingency planning). However, one plane did drop off something to the paratroopers who were signalling desperately and men died to retrieve it. When they got it back to safety it turned out to be a carton of red berets. That image has stuck with me for a long time.

That I classify as the most tragic scene in the movie.

I wish there was an in-game notice of any special evens when in the garage, maybe a button that highlights when an event is active! Clicking the button would give a description of the event.

So why isn't the JagdPanther tank destroyer included in the special? It was deployed there you know.

As fate would have it I purchased a PzKpfw VI Tiger last week and outfitted with vents and rammer. I could have saved some credits, but playing a Tiger without upgrades is priceless <hits head on desk>.

I have noticed that the historical specials include historical vehicles and none of the prototypes, but I do believe that discounted equipment can be added to any vehicle.

Yes, it can be added on any vehicle.

It really use to be russian tanks and german tanks for awhile, I guess its actually our turn to have the specials now.

Yes, we now design specials for NA from COM server perspective.

my russians tanks never get one :( "

My guess is that they,(Wargaming) will have a Special to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the "Battle of Moscow".
The majority of which was fought from Oct. 1941 to Jan. 1942.
To be immediately followed by the Soviet "Winter Offensive" of 1942.

We will male an special for 'Battle of Moscow' for sure. But all discounts would not be predictable-)

So rammers, vertical stabilizers, camo nets, vents, gun-laying drives, binoculars, improved optics, etc. will be half price???  That means I have to print some credits with the Lowe and T-59 tonight!

Yes, the price for this equipment is halved

Experience points would be so much better than the credits and why no TD's??  germans used them alot in the battle!

We will probably add them next time.

Market Garden... great to hear a special going on for it...

It's one of the WWII operations that I've done the most reading and research on... Bold plan... poorly executed but still, incredible what they did accomplish...

As for the Special... good thing I just got my E8 to play with... cant' wait to play this weekend and garner some xtra creds using it!!

OP Market Garden was bold foolish and a failure before the first plane took off, you should study some other battles that suceeded and understand why.  Then go back to Market-Garden and see if those same factors are present in the planning stages.

Wow what luck!  I was playing last night and earned enough to put a rammer on my Tiger...but, I was too tired to mess with it then...now I should be able to get both a rammer AND a gun laying drive for the same price.  Sometimes it pays to wait.

It will happen, wait for Kursk!
I think The battle of Berlin in mid-spring includes some of the tier 7 Soviet stuff too (up to tier 7, T34-85, T-34, SU-85 AND su-76 where in that also if memory serves)

Why is it these tanks? So far as I know, there were no e8s or Sluggers involved in M-G. On the other hand, there were King Tigers.

Me to only getting reg amount of credits for win in both E8 and M4 Sherman's, last event using these 2 tanks I was able to get from 40 to 90k credits per game and now I am only able to do normal 20 to 40k credits a game.

I have all the special vehicles in my garage but will focus on grinding the Panther and Tiger as they tend to generate the least number of net credits overall.

Excellent timing - double credits for the Tiger will hopefully net me enough to buy KT by the end of the weekend.
