Hi All,

The women in my AMX 13 90 should soon start on their 6th skill and I am looking for advice.  The current set up is:

Commander (Loader) - BIA, 6th, Camo, SA, Recon

Gunner (Loader) - BIA, Camo, Snap Shot, Dead Eye, Repairs (plan to retrain to Safe Stowage when I get to 100%)

Driver - BIA, Camo, ORD, Smooth Ride, Clutch Braking

So, what next?  I was thinking Repairs for the Commander, reset the Gunner (who doubles as Loader) for get Safe Stowage and then Repairs again, and Repairs for the Driver, with the goal of resetting to Preventative Maintenance if I live long enough to see a 7th skill.  Or JoT for the Commander?  I do run food, so, Fire Fighting?  Should I put Designated Target ahead of Safe Stowage?  Should I reset Clutch for Preventative now and start again on Clutch?

I use large repair and first aid kits and am thinking about using some of the directives I have lying around.  i might even buy a piece of improved equipment.

All advice appreciated.

TIA, GLHF

If you have a bunch of FF directives lying around I wouldn't worry about training the crew for it, at least that's the perspective I've had ever since I realized how many I was building up. I'd probably do repairs on all three for the sixth, but either way you go, you got one heck of a crew!

For sure firefighting. Even if you use directives its worth it (just don't use directives during the last 10%, the directive just boosts them all to 100% until its max then adds another 50% for 150% total skill). Next test server find someone to do a training room with a see the effects of no FF vs FF skill vs FF skill+directive. Or if you can spare bonds for experimenting try it on the live server. Hint, AMX 13 fuel tank in in the rear on the sides.

Also, for the other skills. safe stowage is nice but 13 90 doesn't get ammo racked a lot so you can skip it. PM only effects engine fires if I remember, fuel tank fires are more dangerous and don't get effected by the skill so its not great. JoT is mostly useless with reusable med kits. Designated target is great and I would switch deadeye for it (deadeye bonus is very small), if you use the directive you can keep people lit for 14 seconds. Repairs is kinda personal preference, for me if I'm tracked I use a kit and don't play super aggressive until its recharged so repairs isn't great for me. But I also play more camo games, if you are more active it may be worth getting.

Commander - Repairs

Gunner - Safe Stowage, restart Repairs

Driver - Tough call on this.  I'm all about the mobility and the fact is, if you get hit hard enough to start a fire or have PM/SS come into effect, you've lost a lot of health anyway.  I run food with a FF directive, but that's next to useless in my experience. I'd personally stick with Clutch at 100% and move onto repairs.

Many thanks for this.  It looks like you're something of a 13 90 specialist, so I appreciate you taking the time.  I have noticed that the 13 90 does burn pretty often, especially with all the HE being thrown around by the wheelies.  I checked on PM, and you are correct, it does not apply to fire from fuel tanks, only from engine damage.  I've never used DT and I've become pretty hooked on DE, but perhaps I need to reconsider.  I'm pretty close, so I could have both...

So, retrain the Gunner to DT and then FF for everyone?

Thanks again.

PS - not discounting the advice from others, but RC_1140 has 1150 games in the 13 90 with a purple WN8 and blue WR.
