Yeah I'm overly tired of it.  There's no reason that every other game I've ever played does these things in-game and WG sends you to their website to enter codes.  And their website isn't very intuitive, either so it's not like there's some great benefit of using the website over the game client.  Quite the opposite.

Tired of codes, waste of time. I don't know what purpose they serve or how it adds enjoyment to the game. I'm sure there is some "stat guy" getting off on all the data collected!

I'm just imagining some executives at Wargaming:

"Look at all these people talking up a thread related to codes.  It's a very long chain of messages with many users giving input."

"It's a success!  I'm glad they like the system!"

Totally agree, it's out of control.

Boycott Mission Codes.  Just do not participate in the Standard Missions as long as they require codes.  Send in a ticket expressing this (as I have done) to WG CS.

If a large enough number of folks submit tickets explaining their actions and the reason behind it, then, when participation in the Standard Missions notably drops, they will easily be able to 'connect the dots' in their analysis.

If you don't like entering the codes, then don't enter them.  However, that has to be tied to a STATEMENT of Intent to 'boycott' the codes.  Not the Missions; the Codes.

I played along for several months.  I appreciated the hell out of those folks willing to place the codes in a "One Stop Shopping" thread.  Even so, every month I have to spend five minutes entering codes to play the same missions I used to be able to participate in WITHOUT those codes.  In short, the codes are wholly unnecessary.

To protest, you must STOP participating in the Codes.

I agree with this.  I think the Scavenger Hunt is EXACTLY where codes belong.  The rest of the Missions and Events?  No.

Yeah, but I also think codes should be associated with any mission that rewards with premium time, or the reward of premium time itself should have a code.  This would be so the player could plan the initialization of the premium time better, for more productive use.

I happen to not agree with this.  If it's a Special Event, maybe okay.  Regular standard every day Missions that have been Code Free up to now?  Why?

Answer that question to a satisfactory point and I could be convinced.

Except that it's ONLY the NA server(s).  Except that it was a 'result' of the Mission UI being 'too cluttered' and yet we heard no complaints about the UI that indicated we wanted it fixed with CODES.  Except that they worked before, so -- WHY?

Scavenger Hunts are appropriate for codes.  I never needed a code to Win Premium Time.  In fact, I have won FOUR DAYS of Premium time from Awards For Merit, along with equipment, credits, XP, Blue Print Fragments, Crew Skins, Crew Books and consumables.  NO CODE NECESSARY.

So why should codes be used for the purposes you think would be okay?  They didn't need them before and No Other Server(s) are required to use them.

Are you saying you think the codes are okay and that we should be using them when the missions and events never needed them before?  I do not enjoy being a guinea pig for what is obviously a data collection event that shouldn't be necessary.  All the data of rewards handed out and people participating can be seen in the Mission Progress of the player base and I'm SURE that's already available to the WG bean counters.

No Mission Codes.

I've noted less codes for weekend events over the last two weekends.  Like this last xp weekend event had the x2 xp that turned on without codes.  Though you still needed the code for the mostly worthless xp fever event.

If you guys haven't figured it out by now, WG is generating revenue for their advertisers.  The sites that are visited get monetary compensation for every click on their site.  I'm sure WG sees a piece of that as well.

Yes please can we stop this.I do not mind scavenger hunt codes, but having put in codes for missions that should already be in the game is just annoying.

I refuse to go looking on the net for these codes, rather, I use Warchildes "Codes R us" thread to find any codes I want to partake in.

about as well as any petition works when it comes to WG, we still have the dumb aspect in the game it appears.

yeah codes are annoying now. They serve the players no real purpose and seem to be done for reasons unbeknownst to us.

All missions should just be unlocked, we shouldn't have to put in codes.

i think they should just auto redeem codes regardless if they play them or not. There has been challenges that would have been easy for me that i missed or was late to because i dont sit and check the website every second for new codes and [edited].
