Serious question. On the tier 6 now. Hated the t4 and the t5, I'm not sure I have the patience to team playing such a...miserably worthless tank (bad stats all the way around, too slow for a med, no gun/armour)

So...just abandon the line?

The tier 4 is beyond OP, just load the high pen HE rounds and derp away

Already past the tier 4. It was...ok, not fun though. What about the rest of the line?

I'm at the tier 8 and I am enjoying it. It sucks to play it stock but gets much better once you have at least a 100% crew and fully unlocked modules. At tier 8 you get the first auto-reloading gun.

I also enjoyed the tier 7, it currently has my highest scoring base exp game. The same thing could be said about the tier 7 as the tier 8 and perhaps all the tanks in the line. Playing them stock sucks, but playing them upgraded with a decent crew is a lot of fun. In my opinion.

But I remember enjoying most of the line so far. So my opinion might be mute. Once you get past the stock grind, get a crew with 3 or more skills (sixth sense is a must) and use some equipment, the tanks can be deadly fun.

Edit: What I think I like about these tanks is the relatively high alpha and good mobility.

I'm 1 for 8 in the tier 6. Rage selling is about 2 seconds away. I can't even by useful to my team in this tank. I don't want to continue pushing if there is no light at the end of the tunnel. My crew is pretty much crap, and I don't think I want to bother grinding out 3 skills on this...

Well if the t7 is like the t6 then I'm out. This line isn't worth playing. The line has got to be more fun then just the top tier.  I'm just annoyed that I wasted my weekend on this line.

I thought the Italian line was one of the most fun and easiest to get to tier 10 in. I think I got the Progetto 65 in a weekend it was so much fun. I never once felt the need to write a post about the line because I didn't like them. It also could just be the line. Some play better with other lines or Nations of tanks.

Play the Line out hell you are almost there and get engineer for the tree being complete. That's alone is a reason

The 8-10 are well worth the grind.  The 7 and below need 100% BIA crews to get that aim time down.  Once your crews improve, so will the tanks performance.  What equipment you running on them?

Have any free crew directives you can slap on to see if it helps?

This is why I'm asking. I'm trying to figure out of it's just the god-awful luck of the draw team wise (entire day of 4-5 team mates dead before I fire a shot) or if the tank just isn't my style.

Tier 8 imo is where the line really gets going imo, the 44 pantera is like a autoreloading panther

Once you get to tier 8 it is a totally different play style compared to the lower tiers. So it is hard to say if it will be worth the grind or not for you.

Hey man..

AS many games as you have ... You know better than to get on here and cry about a line. How many others has completed this line and just got it done...

If you are working on a project in life do you just walk away from it of complete the project. Maybe you are a person that walks away. I would hate to see your house and all the half done projects.. LOL

If your not getting a shot off before four or five team mates die that is on you.  This whole line starting at tier four isn't bad, they are fast enough, armor that can bounce a shot or two, decent guns.  The only time I thought the line needed anything was when I had the stock gun on the p.44 panterra.

Just want to add to this.  Your not going to like the stock Pantera.  It's slower than a heavy.  You'll want to research your turret, then gun.  The second turret takes you from 2 rounds in the clip, to 3.  Then do the engines.  Gun makes all the difference in that tank.  Once it's fully upgraded, it's quite fast.

For me it got better with the P43bis. The Pantera and Standard B I play as second line sniper. With no armor you live longer and contribute more than rushing in and getting blow up first thing.

It's not the destination - it's the journey ;)

Thus far this journey isn't enjoyable.

Well, as far as I'm concerned, the Italian line is one of the least grindy lines of all. Objectively, the tier 6 and 7 are good, and the tier 8 and 9 are pretty much best-in-class.

I played with BIA and food and that probably made a big diference.
