Arty is effected at least for me, it's just not as pronounced due to the camera view difference.

You should re-read my 1st post in this thread on that matter.  It DOES affect the Overhead view.  It makes the tanks look like they are literally leaning over on one side, then the other, from one set of tracks to the other AND, at the same time, they seem to wiggle from side to side and the effect is that they look like crawling bugs that are about to fall over to one side, manage to avoid it and do the same on the other side to infinity.

So, yes, SPGs are as affected by this as other units.  I'll grant that the effect is not as disorienting in Overhead View, but in Battle Assistant Mode, WATCH OUT!  It's truly horrifically hard to aim in that mode at the moment.  I purposely checked this as I play a lot of SPGs due to my potato computer and connection.  Yes, they are also affected by this 'bug.'

In the other four classes, it is so bad I get nauseated from playing.  It's worse than the 'sway' Duke Nukem and the original Quake avatars had back in the day, which was known to induce eye strain and fatigue.

Just so you know.

I don't think we're all having that problem. I haven't seen any UI problems in game or the garage. Send a replay to support. That's what Domo will tell you.

Yep no issues for me. It’s strange because I run vanilla only but others that run vanilla are reporting problems.

edit. I’ve only played 7 games since the update so maybe I haven’t played enough for it to happen.

If you have it, you'd know it.  I'm suspecting it's a driver interference thing of some sort.  Like there's a delay between the marker positioning and the tank the marker is meant to float over and the marker information is 'rubber banding' back and forth in your view to make up for this defect of graphics.  Then the moving just makes it all that much more apparent.

If you had this going on, trust me, you'd know from the very first moment.  It is quite distinct.

Running on lowest doesn't stop the jelly tank markers.

I just hope they fix this faster then the no hit sound bug that took six months to fix......

I AM on lowest settings.  I have the SD client at lowest possible graphics settings.

It does NOT make ANY DIFFERENCE or I wouldn't also have submitted my ticket yesterday afternoon.

I am hopeful that the 'fix' is small enough to be fit into a micropatch.

Today my computer has spent the ENTIRE DAMN DAY downloading and reinstalling WoT's last update.  I still have 54% to go.  Ahh, the joys of rural wireless internet.

Sorry lowest settings was a nod to the tank pong.

Just a fyi to anyone with this bug.

It seems that if you can increase your frame rate to above 120fps the effect isn't as noticeable.  I saw on the Eu forums that the problem is the game rending the markers above the tanks one frame behind the rest of the game.

Great!  All I need to do is spend around $600 for a new computer and I can have smoother Jello Shots.

There's no other way I can increase my fps.  Not at this time, anyways.  :)

I suppose a more accurate statement is that MY arty isn't affected. My apologies to everyone that is still having weird things happen in their client.

Just in case I am going to put my graphics settings here to try and see if it helps.

Hope this helps!

Now that’s funny, don’t you think people that could get that frame rate already would be? I don’t know what’s average for FPS but I would kill for 120, or 100 or 80 best days I hit 60.

9-13 fps consistently.  No WAY I can increase them without another computer altogether -- which right now?  No extra ducats for that.

Hey KRZYBooP whats your average in battle fps?  I know for me turning off vsync and turning down graphics setting so I get about 180fps greatly decrease the wobble.  It is still there it just isn't bad enough to start triggering the slight motion sickness it was.  Before with vsync on it really started to hurt my eye tracking of targets and started to give me mild motion sickness after one battle.

Only other thing is I hope this gets fixed before frontlines or else I won't be able to play it.

Hey Mr. Owl do you happen to know what your system specs and what settings you run the game at are?  I just want to know If i can toss any ideas your way to help get you back up to the great land of 30fps.

Dell Inspiron N5010 (mfg 2010)  6G DDR3 RAM, shared with Video Chip and OS.  13.3" TFT laptop.

Trust me, unless I can swap out the RAM chips, this boat ain't going to go any faster.  It's as tough as it can be at this time.  It was a free 'gimme' laptop a friend gave me so I could have SOMETHING after my other laptop died.

Before 1.0 dropped, I was normally running around 17-21 fps.  That wasn't an issue.  At 11fps I can still play as long as my ping is below 250ms.

With the Marker Bug, the shaking at 11fps is so severe that I cannot play anything other than an SPG, because the 'swaying' is so bad in direct fire mode that it's making me nauseous and gives me a headache within about 3m.  The fact that I cannot 'lock' on a target very easily combined with the low frame rates, you might as well just remove the gun from my tank and paint a big red and white target circle on me.

So until the bug is corrected, I'm MORE stuck with SPGs than I was before it.

Anyone got a couple of 4G DDR3 Laptop RAM Dimms for a Dell?  (or bigger?)
