Yes, I'm asking questions about this tank. Please don't tell me about how bad it is, the reason I'm getting it is because it's so bad it's a meme. (Me and a couple of friends are gonna try running a full team of them in the next tier 6 3v3 tourney too, because why the [edited]not)
-Crew skills: What to get, and in what order for your first 3

-Consumables to use
-Equipment to mount

-Literally anything else that might help this piece of trash do slightly better

Thanks my lads

Crew skills.  The view range is so bad, I'd select Braille as the primary skill for all crew members.

The gun is really good from what I recall.  It's just mounted on a poor platform.  You would think it would have the same armor as the Churchill of it's tier.  It don't.

Binocs and a rammer for sure.  With binocs, you won't be as team dependent for spotting.  Tool box?  GLD?  Net?  Been a number of years since I played it.  I have forgotten how the aim bloom is on it.

He called it Game carrier... :teethhappy:

Rammer, Optics, Vents for equipment.  Maybe switch vents for toolbox.

Repairs on crew, then BIA.

Large and small repair kit, and food for consumables.

Have one team mate run the 3 inch gun with binocs and camo net.  This guy is the spotter while the other two shoot.  When the game goes into CQC, The spotter is responsible for tracking anything that is trying to outflank, that's why he gets the gun with the best rate of fire.  Stay together and don't get outflanked.

Pray.

If you're interested, I did a review on the GC recently - http://forum.worldof...ll-gc-a-review/

Covers it pretty well.

I'll bet it's a beautiful piece of tank killing machinery compared to the Archer. :)

Note that in the right situation the Archer can work well. But it's an overspecialized hide and snipe that has to move backwards if it wants to go faster than 12 kph and has no real armor.

Archer is not bad once you get used to its quirks.  That 17lber sings at tier 5.

I'm nominating that as the most hilarious posting of 2019.

Just got the Churchill Gun Carrier couple days ago, using that "such camo much wow" style since it portrays exactly how seriously I'm taking myself while playing this thing

I ended up having a good deal of fun with the Churchill GC, ended up making it Elite before moving on to the AT-7.

The stories are true, it is a mediocre tank, but not nearly as impossible to play as many would suggest. I'd recommend Binocs, camo net for equipment. Crew Skills: 6th sense of course, and clutch braking. Clutch Braking will help you escape ez pz. :)

Also, something to note: The GC only really comes into it's own at the top gun. The first two guns can deal damage, but only just. Until you get the top gun, focus on tracking enemies rather than killing them. Once you finally make your way to the 32-pounder gun at the top, the GC becomes a heavy killer. Likely you'll be the only one on your team who can pen and damage Heavies frontally. Picky heavyweight, thickly armored targets. :great: Hope that helps! As a final thought, I found it very rewarding to get kills with "the worst tank in the game". Practice with it and it feels great to do well with it, or at least do passably well.

I just got the top gun, played a couple battles. With all modules unlocked, this thing is actually kind of decent, and works amazing until you get spotted. I'm at 95% on crew, so no skills gotten yet. I've spent time grinding credits to test out different equipment, my favorite is rammer/vents/camo net. Binocs I haven't gone with, because my best games I'm far enough back that I'm not going to be doing any spotting, and the bonus reload speed is much more useful.
