Long history short.

I'm just a game to unlock my first tier X tank, the Obj 705A, but i'm ultra low on credits even selling the obj 705 and some other tanks I don't play too much (in total, i'm on 4,000,000 credits or so, even 5,500,000).

Also I have another tier X tank I want, the Obj 277. And also have the T-10 with almost half the exp needed to research the 277 (I'm talking about having the T-10 full researched and stuff).

So I was thinking, I sell the 705, buy the T-10 again, farm up the exp and get the 277;

on the way of getting the 277, farm the credits I need to get the 705A, and resume the farming and for last, get the Obj 277 too.

So, what you guys think? I'm thinking of doing it because the obj 277 is a bit more competitive than 705A. And also having double profit on two good tier X tanks, being the two first big girls for me to have.

With no more to say, I'm reading your opinions. Thanks to all.

I can't make heads or tails of what you're saying.  All I can make out is you want some tanks and may or may not own them. What I would do is just play what you have until you can afford what you want, it's not a race.

Wait till Frontline kicks off.  You should be able to make a boat load of credits then.

Since you already have 705 go for 705A.

What I don't understand is why anyone would sell their T-10 on the first place, that tank is ridiculously good.

And tier 10 is expensive.   You have to do really well in battle to make credits, or run boosters.

OP, my suggestion would be:

  • If you like the Obj 705
    • keep it
    • play it to earn the credits needed to buy the Obj 705A and/or the T-10
  • If you don't care for the Obj 705
    • sell it
    • buy the T-10 and play it to unlock the Obj 277 and to earn credits for to buy the Obj 705A and Obj 277
  • Either way you go with those, also, drop down to your Tier 8 Premiums and play them to help build credits faster

You can also run through your Emblems and various unused Consumables/Equipment and sell them to pick up some extra Credits.....if you haven't done so already.

Keep Grinding....     Can't do anything else...       Remember, once Bought you still need to Equip it or it's not worth Driving in the First Place....      Boosters work well, but I don't Trust Pub Games to make use of them Worth it....

As mentioned, Tier 10 is Expensive to Operate in between Shell Costs and Repairs  and that's if you Win....     Losing, you can go Broke at Tier 10 REALLY Fast.....

Also mentioned, Frontline is in it's way....     Great for Credit Grinding with some Credit Reserves going, Premium Time, Premium Tanks, add in some Frontline Platooning....       Using the Crew for your Tier 10, Build their Skills, make your 10 Worth Driving....     This is where I generally use my Reserves...

I have the 277 and IS7 already, the 705A is Unlocked, but I have Played it in the Test Server....     The IS Line is Overall the Best Line to get your Feet Wet in....        277 requires Good Playing Skills, it's a Better T-10 all around....     IS7 is the most User Friendly Tank in the Line....      705A is the 800lb Gorilla you put in places you don't want people to get Past...

I think you'll be Happy with all 3...      I just Added the EBR 105 and might be adding either the Leopard I or PTA to my Garage soon...     They have Xmas Discounts on them and they've been a 4yr Off and On Grind....

Good Luck in which ever Route you Take, but remember, the Grinding isn't Done yet it's only getting Started....

For various reasons, I would recommend you wait for the 705A to be "on-track" for that tank to buy it as it will then be discounted...

You are much likely to earn more credits at tier 9 than at tier 10, so with that said, grind tier 9s to earn credits for the tier 10s you want to buy.

If you have a prem tier VIII play it for credits and just buy both(in time). Like someone stated, it's not a race.

Also note: tier 9's and 10's are usually credit negative(especially if you hit the 2 key) so unless you're really good they'll hamper you'r overall progress(credits).

Well, the T-10 is pretty good and it leads to the Object 277, also pretty good. Neither of those tanks is ridiculously good in the hands of an average player. Real good players can make those tanks do great. A good parallel would be the infamous E 25. You generally have to be a real good player to make that TD play like it's OP.

For me, I had good Russian heavy crews (4 skills +) and my IS-3 had unlocked both the Object 257 and T-10 long ago. So I recently purchased them both and have been playing them the last few months to unlock the Tier Xs. I did better and liked the Object 257 more then the T-10 which became a chore for me to play because I wanted to unlock the Object 277 before I sold it.

So my 257 unlocked the IS-7, purchased the IS-7, kept the 257, waited until T-10 unlocked 277, sold the T-10, moved the T-10 crew into the IS-7.

So for me I do better in the average player friendly Pike Nose Russian tanks. Pike Nose path: IS-3 > Object 257 > IS-7. Also the Pike Nose premium Object 252U/Defender. No experience with IS-3A so can't comment on it.

If you want the 277, you have the right plan.  Even when you get enough for the 705A, why buy it if it's not something you're looking for?

1.5 mil is a big difference when looking to buy a 6 mil tank, unless that's your estimate from selling the 705 (it will actually put you at 5.75 mil or so).

If you don't plan on training up a new crew or the 705, sell it.  I'd then use your good lot of tier 8 premiums, pop personal reserves, and just do a premium tank night.  Before you know it you'll see the credits pile up.

I'm not a fan of selling tier 10 tanks as you'll take a decent hit even if they were purchased on sale.
