whats done is done but these things are taking all the fun out of the game. Now that WG has added this crap car maybe some research by them on crash mechanics and physics. Like for example what 400 g force does to a human brain when traveling from 100kph to 0 when the hit a wall. what kind of damage would that same crash result, would a vehicle even be able to move after. What about a 40 meter fall when these clown cars are jumping is what 30 mph to zero falling due to gravity.

According to my last post about issues and the ridiculousness of these bearded clam cars, Crazyboop just laughed.

Doubtful WG will do anything that's necessary to make them fit into the game as its going to affect their saleability!

What really gets me is how they probably banned some/several players for having proximity lock on and then they have the gall and nerve to install

it onto these rinky dink Mickey-mouse racers.

All war gaming has done with this introduction is to change the game from a semi-serious computer game of realistic and somewhat historically accurate game of Tank Battles into another goofy version of Mario-Cart Nintendo 64

They don't take nearly as much fun out of the game as arty, high alpha and HE guns.

Twitch describes WOT as a "Simulation, Action, Driving/Racing" game. It's not a tank game anymore.

Does that surprise you that he's part of the problem?

In reality wheeled armored vehicles were deployed because they were cheaper to build and maintain than tracked vehicles. Their armor was proof only against small arms and shell fragments.

Their disadvantages were also distinct:

Wheels were not as mobile as tracks off road and were prone to bogging down.

The guns had to be lighter because the chassis was lighter: usually the cannons were "low pressure" to reduce recoil. A 50 ton tank is a stable platform in that it can absorb a strong recoil shock- an 8 ton car cannot.  The cannons had less muzzle velocity and less penetration and less useful range.  The acceleration was not great as (the early ones at least) were based on truck or bus power trains.

The cars here should have less acceleration, less performance on surfaces other than paved roads, much weaker guns and absolutely no aimbots.

A fast crazy game might be fun, but I would only want it as a separate game or game mode.

I really wonder what was the intent of the wheeled clown cars what I have noticed games can end very quick thus you use up consumables faster so is WG making you spend on consumables if you desire to use them.I know a lot of folks had excess silver and gold from Christmas boxes so lets get players to use it in various marketed ways. Not saying its just clown cars but the design of the game has hidden tones for the addictive personality WG introduces a variable that changes the normal mechanics and you need to adapt since old play style will not work as many are finding including myself. I like the game but it is an arcade made to be a semi realistic tanker game? I don't know but I like wasting my time on it. Oh ya I just took off the foil hat back to work now.

Not that I disagree with your premise here but "semi-realistic game of realistic and somewhat historically accurate"?!  Wow, NO.  This game has NEVER been any of that.  Only the models and maybe the penetration mechanics have much basis in reality, other than the myriad paper tank designs and of course HE shells, HESH shells...actually nothing in the game is realistic.  The entire game is faster than it realistic tank combat, wheelies just ramp it up that much further.

Just more crap from the fertile minds in Minsk, but why? More to monetize for wot, which I have no problems with. However, they should be less powerful and more in line with their design limits...was that too hard to accomplish wot?

maybe there's a clown car and arty fix, a MM mode with 9 arty and 6 clown cars. Regardless i'm think about either going to stop playing the game or just drop down and only play tier 4. No clown cars in tier 4.

Had a clown car in battle today that took 16 hits, 11 of which were penetrations, before it got killed.  Nah, there's no problem with the pickup truck TAKES 10 PENETRATIONS AND IS STILL ALIVE.

WG has their head so far up their butts they think it's their neck.

I didnt say semi-realistic, I said semi-serious. As in meaning how many players take and treat this game

As for realistic, almost every vehicle is designed from blueprints (if available) and any literature that can be found to reproduce them as historically correct as possible

They have taken shell velocity, gravity effects, traverse speed, acceleration, engine horse power, engine type, shells etc etc etc. all from historical data

and used it as base lines. tweeking and modifying it to suit and fit into their vision of the game as they see fit for balance.

So I stand by my wording of realistic (appearance) and "somewhat" historically accurate!

To actually think this game is historically accurate, as in real life simulation, would be a bit obtuse.
