Looks like the main disk locked up but the engine kept on running. :amazed:

I saw that Yesterday and found out that it was from a 30 year oldish aircraft that they are trying to phase out of service cause of stuff like that.

Sadly I am 30ish and dealing with things falling apart and getting shitty now. My back for example feels like how that engine looks.

As someone who recently turned 65 I can tell you it only gets worse. :(

Growing older is mandatory but growing "up" is optional. :coin:

If my mother was still alive she'd be telling me to quit being a teenager,

Back in the day I found it amusing when my Grandmother would refer to my Father as a young man. There is an extent to which it's all relative. However, I recently had a birthday and now officially qualify for the old fart's discount. I'm not so sure that's a good thing. But as they say, the only thing worse than getting older is the alternative.

I like how this morphed from a seized disk in an engine to slipped disks in the lower back. :P

Let's move from lower back to eyes. I broke my eyeglasses two years ago and finally decided it was time to get an eye exam, my first since the early 2000s, so I could get them replaced. The results - no cataracts, no glaucoma and no damage from the laser accident.  :)

In a couple of weeks when my new eyeglasses arrive.......

Spoiler
