It seems that our ideas were listened, they improved the mobility a little bit more and added extra gun elevation/depression when not using siege mode (-8 on the gun, and extra -6 on the hull), it seems that they also raised the speed limit to activate siege mode to 30km/h.

The tank feels more comfortable to play now, but I only played one match, thoughts?

they are buffing the turret traverse by 4 and nerfing the hull traverse by 3. I hope the tank doesn't feel less mobile now, cause i loved how responsive it was. As for the other buffs they are awesome. 14 depression is really good, now you can hide the hull easier, it was kind of trickier before.

Especially because old GD only works at the front, with -8 the tank will be more flexible again with the added value of a good ridgeline capability.

Sounds good...

The STB-1 was decent already, but those buffs sound like they will make the tank perfect.

It's become one of my fav tanks, so I'm happy.

But, I'm more interested that the Leo1 seriously needs more SPEED added to it.

The low-end is donkey ****.  It's not performing like it needs to be to me.

I just tested it on the test server and it does feel quite more sluggish since they also nerfed some terrain resistances. Though with BIA, vents, off road driving and clutch breaking it feels awesome again.

I find myself out pacing many lts at times. It really just needs better pw/wt ratio. Its painful going uphill or accellerating

Yep, power needs to be better on the Leo1, then it would be just right.

So, just tried the NEW STB1 on the Test Server.

It's actually wonderful.

It doesn't seem "sluggish" as mentioned above, it's currently kinda slow, so I don't really notice any difference on the test server in that respect.  It just doesn't feel like it, like with the Leo1 for some reason, maybe power thing?

However, even though they state they Nerfed the Hull Traverse, they clearly didn't, because they clearly Buffed the ground resistance values for all terrain.

The dang thing slides around like a crazy tank.  At first I wasn't liking it at all, was thinking I might have to remove my hull traverse skill, but I think I might get used to it.  Would definitely add to fighting.

It's not extreme, though a definite difference that I'm going to have to get used to.

So, STB1 is near perfect now.  Though, they clearly need to buff the gun mantlet armor, shouldn't be getting penned there.

Omg thank christ.

I was rediculously opposed to the current changes because they made it so complicated to play, I legit would of rather they didnt touch it.

But these changes fix a number of the issues I had with the current state of it. I might be able to live with it now

Ya, the tank and it's suspension is nicely "smooth" now... not as wonki like current.  Feels fairly good.
