I have never been a fan of RNG in this game but in the last few months - just as mm problems are finally being solved (I'm finally getting top tier games and even all one tier games at a very acceptable rate) the RNG feature has been pumped up 1000% as a balancing feature.  I am so sick of my shots from supposedly .32 accuracy guns go dirt diving or take some other statistically unsupportable path around the enemy vehicles.  Don't even get me started on ghost shells.  All the while every tom, [edited], or harry with red stats hits the tiniest section of my exposed tank - pens - and does so while careening wildly in a completely out of control light tank two tiers lower than me.  Did I mention I was driving a Maus - angled on with a rock pile in front of my lower plate and my turret angled slightly to the side?  Yeah - this WILL be the death of this game for anyone but FTP tomatoes.  Enjoy all that non-revenue Wargaming!

I know there are a few of you that would agree i am not the greatest player. Therefor as i am dipping my paint chips into my bowl of GreenCrayon soup and playing Arty first 12 shots of the day in M53 and CGC,   all misses and zero splash damage, Oh well,   a least the soup is good.

Shot accuracy has gone to pot in SPGs.  Part of the hidden stats for each tank.  All arties were given a secret nerf in addition to the announced ones.

RNG is the same +/-25% it has always been since the beginning of the game, and shot dispersion hasn't been changed in a long time.

So Cool! Congrats. I had 2 '69 Z28s. Brother had a '68 Chevelle SS 396, 3sp on the floor. NEVER Sell those Pontiacs.

Being I don't have the RNG issues on SA or RU test, it's safe to say the problem is the crap NA server... or routing to it.  It's been beyond broken lately.

Also... RNG never changes, it is generated at the time of each individual shot and is never changed or manipulated for any gun, tank, player, team, battle, or mode.

 

It's not a straight +/- 25% either... it's better than that, being +/- 11 to 25% for only 1/3 of all shots and only +/- 0 to 10% for the other 2/3.

It is nice that WG has shared the source code for WOT with you ... that is the ONLY way you'd REALLY know for CERTAIN what is happening under the covers.  If not, NOTHING you spout has any certainty associated with it.

 

And you can STOP quoting WG notes and memos ... they too have PROVEN to be unreliable in terms of game and tank direction.  The more you spout BS the less credibility you have.  And it is amazing that you don't even know your own name anymore.

 

You may have some Ron Copeland fans here ... we KNOW that 6 of them are your other accounts.

Without seeing their source code, how do you know that's the case?
