The biggest part of this game is figuring out when and where you can push an advantage. But how do you know you have an advantage? Do you see only an enemy Object 257? And you have five tanks that can push? Well that's a no brainer, right? Now what if he is supported by an M103, STRV 103B, T54E1, Leopard 1, and E 50M? Maybe others? Not so easy a win now right? If you push into him with your five, you will be the ones losing. You have to know where the enemy is and who can shoot you before you commit to a push. In this game the team did a good job of discovering where the enemy was an slowly and ,as safely as possible, pushing them.

That's the problem with the way the game is going.  NO strategy, NO planning...NO team work.  Those wheeled [edited]don't help either.  It's rush in and shoot....and get killed doing so.

Players actually MOVE?  When?   Replay or it never happened

I saw six TD's crammed into the same spot on Sand River the other day. It's ridiculous.

Figuring out who is using cheat mods is a skill that you need to develop nowadays also.

Good suggestion for the players, Pythons.  However, every time I use a methodical, strategic approach, I just watch my team lose 6 tanks in the blink of an eye.  I always feel I have to rush into battle to protect my yolo muppet teammates from dying, and that gets me in trouble every time.  Strategy went out the window long ago.  It's more like Call of Duty now.

The balance between aggression and defensive play is a tough one. Many times making a decision to push an advantage vs. fall back 15-30 seconds too late can throw a game. Conversely, making the correctly timely decision results in a carry. I remind myself that the difference between good and great in this game is the difference between REACTING correctly to the enemy and PREDICTING correctly what the enemy will do.

Do you really need to post your useless tripe in every single thread?

Yet if all 30 players did this, it'd be a 10 minute camping trip with no combat then a 5 minute frenzied battle to NOT get a draw.

Wrong.  There are tanks that should be moving...scouting...finding out where the teams are.  Then the flanks can develop with heavies and mediums with TD support behind them.  Move as a unit...not as a [edited]hot shot.  One tank can keep an enemy tank busy....another can flank it.  And so on and so on!!!  Strategy!  Not this run and gun [edited].

Given pro sport teams and military units train constantly on those things, yet can still mess them up.

I don’t expect 15 random players thrown together to do well with them.

LemmingRush did a video about this where he says to use the mini map to see how your team deploys before deciding where you want to go. He says that if your team is strong on one side of the map but weak on the other that it is the strong side that you should go to rather than trying to reinforce the weak one, which may seem counter-intuitive. He says that you do this because if you go to the weak side, you and the others on that side will pretty much just be meat for the mass of enemies gathered there. If you go to the side where your team is strongest, then it is more likely that you will win that side of the map fairly easily and that opens up more attacking possibilities. It also hampers the movement of the enemy because now they have to worry about protecting the arty's and preventing you from capping so they can't stray too far from their own cap circle.Their flanks will also be exposed allowing for more side shots that are more likely to pen for damage.

This all assumes you have teammates who can do/know how to do the same. And that's almost as rare as a unicorn.

Oddly, while the enemy team will roll over one or two defenders on my teams weak flank, one red team heavy will cause 10 green tanks to stop dead for 6 minutes...
