I'm sure with all the negative reviews the line will be changed.

I mean if Wargaming wants to get people to use all their free xp to get the tier X right away they have to be worth it.

Probably why they have doing so many free xp conversion sales recently.

The British lights may be useless

QB, in my humble opinion, is definitely useless

I would express my opinion on this issue but I already have a warning for using a "block quote" in the forum. I still don't know what a block quote is and why it is forbidden. May the forum and its moderators live long and prosper in their endless endeavors to keep me on the straight and narrow path to conformity.

Respectfully Submitted

The picture above is Lyudmila Pavlichenko whom I believe  had 390 Confirmed Kills which included 36 Snipers in WWII.

No one who has had access to these things has had anything good to say.

Maybe, cause the line isn't Russian?

Neither are the Swedish, Italian and Polish tanks, doesn't stop them from being good.

My suggested changes to make the Manticore more playable while still giving it some of the limitations for its size:

Give it the Super Conqueror's gun and gun stats for the following:
AP/APCR DMG: 390 -> 400 (this will give it the "punch" that WG says it has and have it technically be true.)

HESH: 60p/480d -> 120p/515d (Because, why are you not when it must face things like the EBR 105?)
AIM TIME: 2.3 -> 1.92 (Or, 1.63 if you give it the FV215b's aim time.)

DISPERSION: 0.38 -> 0.32

Also Change:

  1. Lower the dispersion on turret traverse. Again, this is so the player can actually hit the few shots it has while stationary.
  2. Lower the reload time to maybe around 10s unbuffed. While this still isn't great, it would help the player survive if they are forced into at least one brawl, or if they need to take two shots on an enemy that will soon find cover. The current 13.42 second reload is ridiculous.
    3. Can't you fit one more person in that vehicle? Strap them to the roof or something, please. You are basically telling players they won't be speccing into any gunner skills in this tank, ever, as the commander has 7 other core skills they need first: [camo] [repairs] [bia] [designated target] [6th sense] [situational awareness] [recon] ... even 8 with [jack of all trades]; then, maybe, [snap shot] [deadeye] [armorer]...

KEEP:

  1. The 16 max rounds (even though I don't like it at all) as a limitation for its small size. Because people have few rounds, they will pick and choose when to use them. You don't need to also give them horrible aim time or a decent chance of missing the few shots they already have on top of it. It isn't a derp cannon doing 1700 dmg.
  2. the 248p so it "isn't competing" with medium tank penetration values.
  3. Dispersion from moving the tank, so it encourages that passive scouting role that WG wants for it.

From the Cromwell, and it takes 63k xp to unlock the tier 7.

What makes me mad is how many historical British light tank trees were created by the community. We could have had nine real or prototyped tanks and instead we got four dubious blueprinted ones.

I think the idea in WG's head was something like: "Look at this, a light tank line with high camo and big guns! But how to make this play differently than a TD? Simple, just gimp the guns to uselessness."

These new tanks fails on every level and far from the adverting and marketing of them. They perform nothing like what was promised; there’s nothing outstanding about them and not worth the time and effort to grind.

Wargaming has shown it can create balanced and well-developed tanks/content in their game so this new horrendous line only indicates a deliberate sabotage to non-Russian tanks. Wargaming won't even think of adding Russian tanks in the game with such poor and pathetic stats.

These British light tanks in the game are “made up” paper tanks and didn’t exist, even though the British had actual real light tanks developed and in service. This means that the poor stats and performance of this new line are deliberate and can’t be a result of keeping the (in-game) designs consistent to a real-world design. Designing fake tanks with such bad stats only reaffirms the wide opinion of the community and player base that there is Russian bias. This new line is tantamount to giving the player base the "finger" plus a smiley face to boot; a total disrespect to all that play and enjoy WOT.

It would be good to hear what wargaming have to say in response to the outcry from the community. Ignoring the people that pay their wages and keep this (million dollar) game afloat just shows a blatant disregard of the community, and shows lack of respect to the player base.

It is insane how bad the British light tanks are.  These things are utterly useless.  How on earth WG can justify such crap as the Setter, is just beyond me.  That thing would be underpowered at tier 6, at tier 5 it would not be overpowered in the slightest.  The whole line REQUIRING 60K+ xp in the MEDIUM line to get a LIGHT tank is just idiotic to begin with, and then to have something SO bad as the reward is just turd icing on the cake.

Brits had plenty of good, actual light tanks and WG serves this?
