I have one Russian crew skin, a female. (Oksana Shevchenko) I cant use that crew skin on any of my Russian crewmembers. It says "Restrictions: Female". Does anyone know why? I have 3 French Femmes too and cant use them on my one French vehicle, M10 RBFM.

You need a female Russian crew member to use the skin.

You can earn special female crew members in a small variety of ways - primarily through the optional Campaign missions (i.e. Stug IV; T28 Concept, etc.) that are available to anyone, if you specifically start them and begin to complete their missions. Once you complete each full mission branch (e.g. the light tank mission branch for Stug IV campaign), then you will be rewarded with a female crew member. That female crew member can be "recruited" (she will be in your Barracks under "recruits" tab) whenever you want to - and at that time of recruitment you will select her nationality, as well as the specific tank to serve on and the tank role (e.g. Gunner).

So in order for you to be able to use these skins you refer to in OP, you would need to earn & recruit a female crew member in the either the French or Russian nationalities. THEN you could apply the skin to one of them, no matter what tank or tank role they are.

Thanks folks! I guess that I'll never get any female crew members since in order to complete all the missions in the Campaigns I'd have to use SPGs. And that will NEVER happen.

All the non-mod crew are already in bikinis, male and female. You just can’t see them.

Not necessarily - if you complete any branch of missions and specifically finish the last one "with honors", you will get awarded with Order certificate. You can Orders to skip missions, so a lot of folks that don't play arty play the other 4 branches and then use Orders to skip the Arty branch.

Also, you don't need to complete the whole Campaign to get female crew. Just complete each branch for one crew. You could never play arty and end up with 4 female crew - you just won't get the campaign tank in that case.

I think female crew also available in special events, like the Christmas decorations event.

You mean the Second Front Campaign Order? "Awarded for completing each final mission in a set with honors" Now if one has to complete all 15 missions in order to get a SFCO, then what good are they for helping complete the missions?

These Campaigns are a joke. What has to be accomplished to complete missions with honors are unrealistic as hell. Like having to inflict 3000 damage in one battle 3 times. Or the final Alliance mission; having to get Ace Tanker 3 times. Someone at WG must have been dropping LSD when they came up with the [edited]requirements of these Campaigns.

In the current clan wars campaign you may "purchase" female crew members with fame points earned.

Can confirm. I once was exploring the dark depths of my garage when I caught Simon Claus in his bikini. Not a pretty sight.

That's like the old not too successful pick-up line; "Did you know that under my clothes I'm stark naked?" :hiding:

Just to confirm, crew skins are for decoration/aesthetic purposes only.  They don't do anything for crew performance, correct?

Really, I've got the Stug IV and T28 HTC and have never played one round of arty. I must be doing something wrong.

On the Excalibur Campaign, which is the one that I'm stuck with, some of the missions require stunning enemy vehicles. Arty is the only way to do that.

BTW, the Stug IV Campaign does require SPGs, I just checked it out.

You can complete the StuG campaign without playing arty.

Sure it does, lol, yet look at my account. Not one game played in arty and yet games played in the Stug IV and T28 HTC. As I stated before I must be doing something wrong. It may involve using orders but .....:(

How? One full mission track requires SPGs; Like mission 1 of "SPGs". "A Bold Claim" Primary mission; Stun enemy vehicles 3 times. And in red at the bottom of the page, because I don't and never will have any, "No suitable vehicles; SPGs of tier IV-X.

You only need to complete 4 out of the 5 classes’ mission tracks, to complete that campaign mission. And get the StuG reward tank.

Thank you! I didn't notice anything that said that. I stand corrected folks! :honoring:
