 Queue times would easily handle two imo.  One...  I say give it a shot.

I think WG should restore artillery's damage, shorten reloading times and increase accuracy.  I have said this time and again and I will ALWAYS feel this way.

I'm more interested in putting something into place to prevent team mates from damaging other teammates, whether on purpose or by accident

I agree with a two arty limit per game. That should be a good compromise and keep queue time reasonable.

As an arty player I'm for 1 per side but they should move it to 2 and watch the arty que times and make sure everyone can accept that before trying 1 per side.

Sure, as an arty player I would not mind - prefer - having one arty per side IF

The rounds would actually land in the aim circle.
It did some actual damage.

Remove the limits on SPGs and let them be as many or as few in a battle as the queue has it.  Remember that the more SPGs there are on a team, the fewer defenders are to guard them.

Back about 7 or 8 years ago, there was no limit to arty. If you stood still in the open and arty could get a tight bead on you, you were dead. Arty reload times were faster and their aiming was faster. People cried so much that they gave Arty another nierf and limited them to 3 per side per match.  I just popped back to check out the game and found they nierfed arty into the ground. The days of a 1 shot kill on a tank seem to be gone, even aiming is off, I would have a tight aiming circle on a stationary tanks, be all zoomed in and watch the round go wide left. Not to mention, the flight times for the rounds have been increased. I had a tank sitting still, had a tight aim on him and fired....while watching for the round to hit, he pulls away and I miss him completely because the round took all day getting there. So, as I suspect this thread will be locked soon, just letting you know, that dead horse was beaten to a pulp a long time ago.
