Arty in wot should be eliminated. It is not an anti-armor weapon.  It is an anti-INFANTRY weapon and that makes all the difference,  Arty in wot ruins good maneuver with absurd (for arty) accuracy and reaction time.  Real arty rounds average 27 time of flight.  Real arty accuracy on average is 3 of 6 rounds within 200 yards of the target AFTER 3 adjust fire rounds to zero in.  Safest place for a tank versus arty is to be the target.  Average mission time from initial call for fire through 3 adjust fire rounds to fire for effect is 5 minutes.  Best thing wot should do with arty is get rid of it.  As for direct fire sights yes, real world vehicles have them.  Against a moving tank you will usually achieve more by throwing the sight at the enemy than  by trying to hit it.  The gunners in US Army get 1 round per year for a direct fire engagement and shoot at a non-moving target couple hundred yards away.  Best thing to do if you are an arty vs a tank is to get far from the arty as possible while the enemy blows it up.

That's simply not a "reasonable" request...

The solutions I mention on the previous page, and others that further balance the game are the only solutions that will work, to be fair, for ALL involved, the Arty player and the Tanker.

Arty does have a line of sight option---just hit your "G" button.
