How was your campaign?
This was my first campaign. Overall, it was pretty fun, but i was not feeling it the last few days. I can't imagine the longer campaigns.
Made enough points to secure the tanks (I could only estimate the amount at that point) about halfway through so didn't have to worry about last minute fame points.
Personally, I liked the shorter campaign. Much more enjoyable over the month long (guess here) one in the winter season. For the most part, had good competition. Love having close games. Sure, there were some blow outs both ways but that is, in my opinion, due to the caller(s) being on their game or off it. My thought process though.
I still like the different fronts being tier X and having to qualify to advance. Big fan honestly.
The only thing that still peeves me is the Tech matches and how it mucks up the seeding. Now, I get that sometime you just get stuck and miss one; not naive here. But that really screws a team out of points and positioning. Sure, you get to advance to the next round but you get 0 points for it and then it places your team in the next round of the landing ladder with 0 points. If there was a team with a bye in the 1st round (always the highest ELO team on the landing) you get them in the 2nd round. For example, if my clan gets a tech win, we could get placed with MAHOU or VILIN or -G-. Now, I do like fighting them because I learn a ton but the intent of this newer system is not for lower clans to face the top dogs in their first battle. No solution from me here but that is my biggest irritant. The issues from Tech wins/losses.

Intermission would be great +1
I had a lot of fun playing with OPIC in the Campaign. I knew Boom, the commander, from before but hadn't really played a lot of SHs or Advances with his clan. I came to learn that they're a great group of guys from all over the globe and if anything, they're too nice (I can be not so nice at times). We had mostly positive days but some weren't so hot. However, there was one day where we didn't lose and that included beating two Top 5 clans, and drawing close games against 200IQ and Mahou.
The Mahou game came down to me in the T92 HMC versus 2 of their Conqueror GCs. This video doesn't do the experience justice because you had to be listening to all the discussions and yelling on TeamSpeak to get the right flavor:

It's a 15 minute battle, but I skip forward to the last couple minutes where the field narrowed down to 3. Had I been able to land my last shot squarely on their last player, I would have been a legend...
Can't wait for my Chieftan!

How about the fact that they don't actually give out the 2200 tanks due to all the people who had all 4 and qualified? Myself and several others were only playing for the crew members since we already have the 4 offered tanks. So for every person that ground to 22,500+ for just the 5 crew members, -1 tanks given out.
They used to have a dynamically adjusting cutoff back when it was clan licenses + personal licenses, maybe that system needs a rework to add positions when people with all 4 offered tanks qualify?

Ooh, I didn't think about that. I wonder how many players have all 4 tanks. If you have all 4 tanks and 140,000 fame points, that's going to be one heck of a shopping spree
I'm looking at the tank, the camo, 4 of the lovely ladies and 1,700 Bonds. Maybe some trinkets with whatever's left.

The other crappy part is certain clans picking players for CW based on the fact that they had a Chieftain or a 907 sitting out guys with only a SuperC or 140. I know they want the better tank but how are the other guys going to get them if they can't get the games in.
