With power of allmighty Excel you can do more :)

Here you can find spreadshet for tracking your progress. 

It comes with useful chart on 2nd sheet:

As you can see, its similar to how xp cost per crew % rises.

Okay so i haven't played Frontline at all this year, do i still have time to get enough Prestige for the WZ-111?

Thanks for depressing me guys. Even though I knew what the graph looked like, it's still kind of disheartening to see it on paper, so to speak. I've been playing the whole week every episode and still only at Prestige 3, Tier 22 so far. But then again, I guess my signatures explains that. :(

Excel says I am averaging 800+ FLexp, which puts me at ~40 battles per prestige. Even for bachelor it is a bit taxing.

If you do not enjoy FL, do not bother. WZ is bad, STA is medicure, Emil is so so and "secret" 9 truns out to be a bit dissapointing.

 

At ~14 hours per prestige grinding only for reward tanks might be far from best idea.

5 games per hour????  Are you HIGH?  You can only get about 3 (and usually you can just start the 3rd).  Total time for 3 games is usually 1:15

Yeah if someone is somehow getting 5 games in an hour they're garbage rush games with no one getting even Captain rank. Doesn't accelerate it unless they are the ones doing cap rushing successfully.

The AE Phase 1 is the only unique tank, the Frontline Emil is essentially the tech tree Emil with a badge saying you got it in Frontline. Hate life less and do the tech tree. 

 

IMO it's a GOOD thing the AE Phase 1 is mostly a unique look with the repair kit bonus. A design expectation of at least 20 hours/week (only the weeks WG picks count) of just this is flat out awful and more or less limits it to people who can no-life it.

Aye. I have not measured avg time but when running 1h boosters my third battle starts when less than 10 minutes are left. So I'd say 25 minutes per good battle +/- queue time.

I hoped for something with more unique playstyle, AE is basically reskinned M103 with -20k upkeep per battle.Looks cool, but quad tracks are just visual gimmick, not technical.

20h is a bit high, unless garage (or player) is not ready for FL.

Basically, you need to get Captain before last base is captured. Any Major/General you get after is spent on filling up drops caused by short, bad, games. Prestige V (episode 4) was horrible for everyone as it was full of turret rushing lemmings. that one sad Sergant comes from battle where highest rank on both teams was Lieutenant :]

 

Anyway, the trick is to have fun and maximize gains. I grind bunch of sad tech tree tanks in FL, so even if rewards are disappointing I still get to grind through 8's in even fight and much faster than in randoms.

Close to max prestige finally. Will max probably Saturday. Picked up Emil this week. I have a life for the 3 weeks there is no frontline.

What I meant by design expectation is that Captain is the highest rank most of a team in a match can obtain and so the highest players can be expected to average. Individual players can do better or worse. There aren't enough points for the team (and thus all teams) to do better. And that's without the rush blitz that is good for the people doing it and no one else as you note. 

 

Partial credit for caps and a rank bonus for being at least Lt. in a win would go a long way to bringing the grind back to Earth/ what it was to Prestige in original FL.

Save yourself the trouble.  

If you are a good player (get General regularly), 1-2 days you'll have a stage done.   

If you aren't (i.e. only place you see a General is on those insurance commercials), it's a full time job.

I get 1 or 2 Hrs a Day, at either end of Work an Hour Each....      All I was interested in was the Emil 1951 and knew from the Start it wasn't gonna Happen....     Too Much to do and not enough Time for it....
