This is so true ! Can I change my vote ? Please??????

Nope...I tried, you get the message the new code is not valid.  Play Germans (or anything else strong against Russian tanks), and kill as many Russian Tanks as you can.

Congratulations to the US for winning a contest they created.

The Russian's goals were first man in space, first woman in space, and first dog in space.

It's so easy to win a game you make the rules for.

^When you fan boy so hard over biased pixel tanks that it carries over into historical events to soothe your fragile sense of value and worth

Couldn't beat the Americans to the moon so they have to beat the Americans in a virtual tank contest.

I imagine one of the soviet space chimps put this contest together considering that the USSR has much better prems for this.

In particular the 85m and the 220.

Well, what do you expect from the Russians?   They're a second-rate country, but can't accept the fact that anyone is better than they are.  If they can't beat America where it counts, they'll make up some rigged contest and act like the rigged contest is much more important than whatever America did first.

There is no debate about the first successful landing on the moon.  When a Russian gymnast flips off the vault and then lands on their face, do they call that a successful landing?  While a great accomplishment, the Luna 2 crashed and burned when it hit the moon, it did not "land".

Actually, they do.  The Russian gymnast did exactly what they intended to do from the outset.  Russians do not make mistakes or failures.  On an unrelated note, that gymnast forgot their parachute when they went helicopter skydiving.  Very sad.

Did not think about the bias on the premiums though.

Might call Shenanigans right here

Went to use the US code (multiple times) and it keeps saying code is invalid, tried the USSR code and it went right through with no problems, yea WG the game is not rigged at all. Keep up the good work lemmings.

US Code worked for me. I unfortunately entered it without thinking though and wish I could have done the USSR. There's no chance in the USA winning this event. USSR already has double the score as of this post.

One phrase to rule them all: Телеграфное агентство Советского Союза (which is TASS, the government-controlled 'news' agency that told -- and some say is still telling -- everyone what to think).

We all know what the true, objective, real-world answer is.  But with Wargaming, my gamer-brain is always asking "what do these folks want the right answer to be?" and I act accordingly in order to collect my reward/s.  There was never anything but USSRTHEFIRST for me.

you have 3x the amount of Russian premium tanks teir V-IV and give away 3x more russians premiums in events.. this is not exactly a balanced event. Not that Wargamming has ever been known for balancing anything, specially when it comes to russian tanks vs everything else

I was the opposite, went to put in russian code due to having 3x the amount of premiums and it said invalis.. tried a few times then tried the US and it went right through

Don't confuse Russia with the Soviet Union.  The Soviet Union burned itself up trying to compete with the USA and lost the race to remain a country.

I am a Pole living in the USA and naturalized citizen.  It would seem I overestimated American patriotism.  That Russia would win on US server is a disgrace and you ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

Agreed.

That being said how many are going to bite and purchase the Sherman tanks in the premium shop

When I heard that strongholds counted for tokens, I knew the Russians would win because no one is going to gimp their team by playing an underpowered American tank when the T34-85M exists.

This is a bunch of bull [edited]. First and most of all the russians have 3 tier 5-6 prem tanks curently purchasable and americas got crapunless you buy the single m4 improved wich is absolutely stupid. Second the looser gets nothing out of it and even more wargaming already knew who would win. lets see m4 improved (craptank) vs churchill or matilda who wins.... Its not the crappy Sherman. Also I believe there is an alterior motive. The first moon landing is remembered as the apollo 11 landing which safely put and removed men, American Men on the moon. Right of the bat the russian bias company (wargaming) is saying that they had the first probe to get to the moon. its easy to throw a steel transmiter to the moon and stick it in the ground there but the Americans landing actuailly ment somthing. You had a controled decent and a safe landing and a relaunch and in the end brought back somthing to study. The russians had the entent to win the race we had the entent to get somthing from it. Wargaming has become a popular and good game all around the world but now it has become a lot more than that it is now totially unrealistic and seems to bee more of a large scale propaganda scheme. Russia is a country that is rulled under a single leader and has instiled fear to the people of his country in order to keep power. Remind you of anything. Maby a certain European country that tried to take over the world in september 1939. I highly sugust to wargaming that if they want to keep there players coming and staying you might want to make your games less pay to win and such a powerful must play to win nation (ussr). Wargaming has made some prety bad decisions in the past but forcefully turning our people against oursilves over such an iconic event for the US!!!! is pure sinister. Its an insult to all of the men and women in the space program then and now to see our own people choose a foreign country other than our own.

[edited]You Wargaming!
