What if the tanks all have a limited amount of fuel? How would it change the tactics?

The ultimate camping excuse, saving fuel.

The German tanks would run out of gas before they left cap.

Giving even more disadvantages to German tanks aside of the current powercreep that some suffer? Most of the mid-late war German tanks were well known for being fuel guzzlers so I see it as a big disadvantage basically for a single tech tree and maybe part of the Japanese as well due to the way their heavies are, so if this would be implemented there should be at least a way to refill the fuel, maybe by returning to our own base to refill, similar like how the repair spots on frontline work but is so much trouble to be honest, especially since this game is arcade focused, not realistic.

Already thought of this, then instantly shot it down as it would encourage camping.

All tanks would have enough fuel to last for hours in combat let alone 15 minutes. Unless they want to make the battles much longer it doesn't really make sense. Maybe you could give an advantage to tanks with really good fuel range however by letting those tanks start the battle 10 seconds earlier than everyone else.

The question makes no sense. WoT battles represent small engagements, tanks have enough fuel to last through battles of this size.

No even War Thunder uses any sort of fuel limit for their tanks (they do for realistic plane battles, but you don't really run out until you get to the jets).

WOT is an arcade style game, there is no need to limit things like fuel as an excuse for people to camp harder.
