We have been getting less and less during holidays and anniversaries now weekends. Na has never gotten a discount on Crew Role Change before if we have I do not remember it, Guess what Eu has this weekend.

 This is EU ONLY!!!!!

  • 50% DISCOUNT On Crew Training/Re-Training with Gold
  • 50% DISCOUNT On skill reset with Gold
  • 25% DISCOUNT On crew role change

The NA player base spends the MOST of any other server on a Player by player avg. So why is it that simple things like weekend event, discounts, getting notified at the start of the Weekend of any news ect ect.  We have to usually wait until 3pm est sometimes much later of an event, and weekend specials or just plain old deals/Specials and discounts are so rare these days. When a player base is shrinking, Discounts and ingame items, crew role change consumables, Things like that will be the only chance to retain or reverse the problem, Not Less.I could go on but why beat a dead horse. This server could have 50k online every night if not for wg na office lack of enthusiasm for their jobs.Yes directives come from Minsk, But are you telling me someone can't step up and make a strong argument for why the NA should not continue to keep getting scraps. I love this game and of all its problems this should be the easiest one to fix.

Yes it 2012 but you can see the numbers for your self, I do not care to look for the latest data, not like it will change much

How much does wargaming earn in each region?

According to published reportfor 2012, potatoes earned so much in total more than 280 million dollars (income, not profit). If we divide the regions, then this picture is drawn:

  • $ 168.9 million - Russian server
  • $ 70.0 million - European
  • $ 39.7 million - United States
  • $ 2.4 million - Asian

Now, comparing these figures with the number of players (as of December 1, 2012):

  • 3 034 756 - Russia
  • 845 528 - Europe
  • 195,340 - USA
  • 62 225 - Asia

As a result, we can get the amount that on average each player spends on WOT every month. This figure certainly has a large degree of error. So, the relative donate to the player:

  • $ 4.64 - Russia
  • $ 6.90 - Europe
  • $ 16.94 - United States
  • $ 3.21 - Asia

That sounds suspiciously like a complaint.

OP, I too have been waiting for a Crew Training/Skill Reset sale for a long, long time.  I have 35 crew members to retrain.  That's a lot of tanks I haven't been able to play for a while now.  It's okay, though.  I'm willing to wait as long as necessary.  It looks like WGNA is banking on players getting impatient enough to go ahead and retrain crew members, without a sale.  Then BOOM!, they drop the discounts.  It's happened to me too many times, but not this time.

If you remember, they did the same thing last year.  There is no excuse for going this long without crew training/skill discounts.

Wait.  Just because someone said so on the forum doesn't mean it should automatically be true?

Why specials on one server aren't done on all servers is curious to me.  Seems like it would be easier to track and maintain.  That said, I've already forgotten (recent Comic Con experience will do that), but did the NA have a couple independence day events 4th for US, Canada had a special, etc. that the EU didn't?  Did the RU server celebrate July 4th?

I do not mind getting everything they do, I just want to get something, We have gotten less and less as time goes on, 4th of July was a Joke, as are all weekends now and Holidays. I just do not understand why other servers are still getting what they have always gotten and we are getting 75% less then what we used to get.

It has been written to many times, on many sites including wg's. If you do not know that by now then you never will.

Altwar, you have been around a long time like myself, Are you telling me we are getting the same discounts and specials that we got even a year ago? You have not noticed the Downward trend. Seriously ? You know I am right.

You are saying something that you seem to expect to be taken as fact.  The onus of proof therefore is on you.  If someone thinks the NA player base doesn't spend the most per player, then the onus is on them to prove otherwise.

I didn't see DB say it wasn't so.  Rather, just requesting a source to the information that says it is so.

hey here's an idea, start an account in each region, then you will get all the goodies.

Funny, I've been going through the exact same thought process. I have 19 tanks I'm not playing because of this. I'm eagerly awaiting the next crew sale. But I am going to wait them out too.

Downward trend on specials?  Yes, I'd agree with that.  But with a caveat.  We get boosters and consumables like crazy.  We get the occasional crew books, directives, blueprints and other stuff.  Grinding in this game has never been easier.  In this respect, all the little goodies even out the downward trend on specials IMO.
