Update 1.6: Changes to Personal Missions

Attention Tankers!

 

Update 1.6 is quite a big update considering that changes being made.  Some of the previous changes warranted updates/balance to the current missions.

 

Since there is quite a lot changing, we'll leave all the glorious details to our portal article.  If you haven't checked it out I've linked it below along with the other 1.6 articles.

Is one of the changes a smarter mission system so we don't need to go reset the dumb missions all the time?  Because a mission should never be able to look like this, they shouldn't start counting till you've got at least one completion.

I am going to miss team damage.  Never had that much trouble with TKs but was always one of those exciting aspects of mixing it up-close and personal.

you still have the ability to get 4 high calibers in the last 4 battles you have for the series...

Are there changes to secondary missions that aren't yet available?  For example will the secondary for the SPG 15 for the 260 still require 4k damage and winning?

Unfortunately, there is only information on the Primary conditions at the moment.  If it wasn't included, it probably won't change but I can't say that as a guarantee.

  •  We disabled team damage and team kills caused by friendly fire and ramming in all Random Battles (Standard, Encounter, Assault and Grand Battles).
  • Reworked the sounds and effects of direct hits received from allies.
  • Revised the system of penalties for causing damage and stunning allies.
  • Reworked the mechanics of interaction between the HE shells of SPGs and guns of the allied vehicles
  • The corresponding changes will be made to the Game Rules, which will take effect after the release of the update. 

 

I look forward to griefers deliberately blocking my shots with impunity while they reload so that they can get the kill for a mission. GG WG.

Team damage was never an issue IMO. There are jerks in the game that do it on purpose - yes, but their bedtime is fairly early. I like the friendly fire as it does discourage shot blockers from eating all the samiches you made. Nothing says wth? like taking a round in the back of the head for gettin' piggy with the 1 shots.:bush:

I like that friendly fire has bn disabled as they've described - we'll see how it works out - it's bn annoying getting those "ramming" penalties for dinging tanks while you're just trying to get out of base at the beginning - also for getting penalized on a longer shot when a teammate moves into the shot circle after you've fired.  And for you "arty-haters" more often than not I appreciate having arty back me up (when they're paying attn), since dodging arty isn't that hard now that they've bn nerfed so much - and I know you like the easy kills at the end of battle when arty's just sittin ducks (I still say that arty pen shd be doubled/tripled inside of 100/50 meters)(make things more interesting).
