Tankers, the details are out for this month's Tank Rewards activities!

Place in the top 3 XP Earners on your team to complete missions for consumables and tokens, plus earn 4x small repair kits, 4x small med kits, 4x manual fire extinguishers a day for simply logging in and playing 1 battle.

For all the details of this jolly tank jamboree, check out the article on our news portal.

The tanks offered are super low tier crap. What a waste of time.

It's been updated.

Big question is do we need a code.

If so, I might start a pool (thread) on how late it will be after the event start.

im guessing a mistake in the tiering...why leave OUT the most-played tiers of tanks?

So the post links to the article. The article links to the Tank Rewards site. The Tank Rewards hasn't been updated. Domo's link to the story is fine but the actual article's link isn't helpful.

well if it stays tier 2-4 for that batch...gives me an excuse to roll out unused prem tanks at tier 2 and 3.

btw WG,just make the rewards 10,2, 5 and 8. they dont need to be multiples of 10...unless the actual rewards have a 5 at the end of their level numbers.

Do I think they've neutrered tank rewards somewhat?  And do I think the end rewards could be better?  Yes and don't even get me started on this code bravo sierra.  Point being, this ain't blind fanboi speech.

However if they're keeping the format the real rewards, especially for those of us who have all the end reward tanks regardless of tier, are the blueprint packages at tier three.

And while it may not be much if you've got all the end reward tanks since there is no compensation, you can wait till you get the end rewards and then sell the tank for silver and get it replaced with a gold crew and slot.  Sure, it's still pretty meh for us "older" players who likely have quite a few free slots and both established crews and the free ones idling away in the barracks.

Honestly once I got the blueprints I forgot about the event and just thought to check it near the end of the event and realized I completed it.

For the newer players.  100 percent or gold crews can be trained to 65 percent unassigned on the first skill pretty quickly.  This allows you to retrain them to a tank of the same class for silver to 100 percent.  Or if you do it without grinding on them to 90 percent base.  Burning one of the crew books we get as merit rewards takes a 100 percent crew with 0 skills to 50 percent on first skills.

Point being for us long time players who likely have a pile of said crews and slots the end rewards aren't much, but for newer players (especially FTP ones) they're pretty solid.  And for us graybeards and the whippersnappers as well the blueprints are solid.

I personally wouldn't mind crew books and blueprints as rewards.

This I don't get tbh.  I get the 2-4... sorta.  Newer players need to be able to participate, but then throw in some tier 8 and nine to ten only?

Just lift the tier requirements OR throw in some more missions covering all tiers even if you make the ones past tier four a two tier spread.

And limit the amount of missions that can be completed a day if that's a problem.  Point being that at least part of this event is to get folks to log in and play daily.   The scheme that has been there so far is four missions available daily.   If we add a few more that may water down WG's formula by allowing completion too quick.   If so then fix that issue by limiting it to 4 or x number of mission completions per day or x amount of points per day.

Just a thought.

Edit: Nice catch by following poster.  They seemed to have changed the point distribution, so newer players at least more points available even if they may be locked out of the two higher tiered missions.

Sooooooooo  no Tier 7 this month , I don't even own a Tier 8 tank yet ......................and I am for sure Party Down is WRONG by stating 100 reward points for just playing a battle each day

The most I will be able to earn is 720 which is just enough for level 3 which is fine cause I don't want any of the tanks

The blueprints are there or have been at tier three.  Hopefully they don't change that.

I'd like to see them expand the packages to include different nations.

And crew books would be a nice addition.  Plus one.

Nice catch.  It's definitely not in line with last months.

But the end rewards are tier 2 and 3 tanks and the tier 3-4 is only 20 points and the tier 8 and 9-10 50 and 80 respectively.

So hopefully it's correct as that will give newer players more points to obtain as there's no tier limits on Party Down.  And no xp or win condition and likely can be completed at the same time as one of the other tier specific missions if you meet the requirements for them.

I'm thinking and hoping it's correct and totally aimed at getting folks to log in daily if for no other reason to log in to play that one game.

Even free stuff has value, obviously. If someone offered you a free lunch would you roof their house?? But the lunch was free so how could it not be worth your precious time and effort... Durrrrr

Thanks for the free stuff!!

FREE. F. R. E. E.

FFFFFFFFRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

My youngest son has started playing now. While I’ve been credit grinding for him (love the T-44-100 rental, BTW) he’s been going through the British TDs. These FREE things will help him with the grind.

Thanks again for the FREE stuff, WG.

All the tanks on offer this month they have given out for free during the Holidays or event.  Games at that Tier are not fun for me. Offering Tier V is more beneficial as it populates the mid tiers and it offers better benefits for new players.
